Eh ??
As it was , I took it in 1 month after warranty was up ( 13 months old), he said it he'd do full reset and maybe it would be all right
2nd time took it back , he said it was clearly fubbard - wasn't even picking up network in shop
And that ANYWAY even it theyd discovered something wrong with it first time I brought it in they wouldn't be liable cos it was out warranty

If I'd bought the phone from Apple sim free , it would be indeed be straight fwd claim
But I didn't , I bought through third party with 24 month contract

What do you make this then
yesterday , I got the best network 4g reception- inc music streaming ... , in place I usually have to move phone around judiciously to get anything
Today from middayish , absolutely zero, No service
its not the network cos put sim in another phone and its ok.
done iPhone network reset - but doesn't alter anything

I don't understand how this could be the case if that particular sim works ok in another phone.
There's also nothing showing on my network EE as problematic.
It really is as though the phone had a * Tough* day Saturday , and now it's exhausted lol
Just totally capricious

Popped sim back in iPhone out of curiosity .
Made it find networks rather than automatic , and its back working now.
I did all the same fiddling over the last few days before giving up
It'll drive me mad this thing.

Sim is fine in other phone
I Spoke too soon , it's mucking around again . It'll be fine 30 mbs download , flick from page to page on internet, then put in your pocket/ turn it different direction for couple minutes and its completely lost - No signal
I believe it's designed for 4g signal, and if it doesn't get it then no use
Also that it has fault switching wi-fi to mobile signal

Not sure that matters if it's a hardware issue.
It was quite funny, there was no bluetooth, couldn't even turn it on, restored to new device, same issue, restored back up, same issue. Went to store, waited for Genius - who was OK - bluetooth was available!!! WTF! Looked at me like I was swinging the lead then ran the diagnostic scans anyway, which came back with a hardware fault... phew!
Took longer than expected but overall a good experience. Some nice new home security products in the store which I almost bought.

I can hardly believe I wouldn't have heard other people in the area complain also !

Well the first guy found it was fine , then second guy 6 months later said was totally fubbered! - I'm not sure if we even got down to whether it was hardware or software with the second guy pretty irrelevant anyway
I Had planned to keep it way beyond the contract , on sim only deal.
