Gold brembos
Cheers mate.
just a new spoiler know as the current is fading, which is annoying me a bit.
like I said mate, shocking brakes. They are a 5x100 fitment on their know, that's why I bought them. And I hope they fit haha.
i gave him the year and looked elsewhere, and by what I've read they will fit. Clearance was the only thing questionable.

To be honest, I wouldn't worry about the brake fluid. Just use good dot 5 stuff. I used to use expensive RBF600 fluid in my cars which is supposed to withstand higher temperatures etc, but I never track my cars so it's completely pointless. I just let Subaru use their standard fluid in it these days and it makes no difference at all.
Nope. Nobody makes or sells the exact same shade of Brembo gold. Been looking for this for years and tried everything. There is thread upon thread on this.
I ended up buying gold calliper paint from eBay to paint the rears. Wasn't quite the same colour, but you couldn't tell.

OR.. check fitment etc take back off along with your rear calipers send off to Godspeed brakes where they can professionally refurb your calipers and paint to the colour of your choice do it once do it proper
Or the eBay method is pretty effective aswell
Just wanted to add my voice to this discussion, I'm getting my car back later today with Brembos all round on a newage (05) WRX wagon, 5x100 PCD. Bought them off someone on southeastscoobies, and got front and rear, with braided lines still attached and with pads, and front discs for £540. Spent another £200-odd on Godspeed rear discs with the handbrake insert and another £200 on a set of STi 17" wheels - was keen to stay on 17s as my geo setup was done with the stock WRX 17s (which DO NOT fit over Brembos). I picked up a pot of paint off ebay to touch up the STi wheels as they were a bit tatty. It's not a perfect match but will do until I decide whether to get a proper refurb and repaint job done.
So with fitting and wheels we're talking £1100 or so altogether. Might get a brake stopper too, at least I can fit that myself, bottled out of doing the Brembos at home!
I've only done one trackday in the wagon but didn't want to do another one until the brakes were improved....looking at doing an event on the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit early next year :-D
Will report back on the difference between stock WRX and Brembo brakes once I've had a few days to play.

your simply repeating an internet myth IMO, the rears on a 4wd performance car have a big influence on the overall ability of the car and how effectively the fronts can operate
your post is only true of some thing like a FWD hot hatch
So if on my car there is no benefit to having the rear brembos, on a standard car what benefit is there? At my power level and use if anything I should need more rear braking force?
we speak to hundreds if not thousands of people so no idea specifically what question you asked or who exactly you spoke to BUT there is a difference between std 2pot rears and Brembo's in terms of braking force
however there may be budget or fitment issues, etc. that mean you were given advice to meet your own needs??

i took standard 2 pot wrx calipers and I pot wrx calipers off of my WRX hatch and now have full size brembos on the front with larger discs and also 2 pot brembos on the back again with a larger disc and the whole car feels so much better when braking.
I wouldn't want to do a full emergency stop as I think it would turn over...seriously the brembo set up is awesome.

so long as you have 5x100pcd the discs will fit I have 330mm now and the brembos bolted straight on...so long as you have wheels they will fit behind !!!
if you want brembos on the back you must use the black hatch ones as all other brembos do not fit...
PM me if you want more info
