I have probably mis-read Rosberg completely to be fair, but his whole demeanor just says spoilt rich kid to me.
Ummmm you may be right but the one thing I will say is he never really complained through the season as far as I know .He did just get on with things in a quiet fashion, which I thought was fairly professional of him.
Or maybe he was just a wimp and afraid of Hammy sticking one on him...!
Im not sure to be honest..

the problem was schumy had a Go Pro on his helmet, and I think the theory is it was the mounting bracket that punctured the helmet and then his skull

Nico is obviously not as "driven" as Hamilton - nothing wrong with that tbh

what is interesting imv is the nature/nurture argument

offspring of sportsman often seem to be good at the sport their parent(s) were good at

coincidence or something else

Well his dad was F1 champion too so he kind of had a pretty good head start in that he had the money, equipment, experienced trainer from a very early age, tbh it's taken him a bloody long time to get to the top considering all of the above, bit of an under achiever really.

He's had serious money all his life and was worth 43 million in 2015 and probably considerably more than that now, maybe his daughter could be the first female world champion.

Think it'd have rattled him more this year knowing that the team wanted Rosberg to win this year. Only one driver has reliability issues.

Then the team state that both drivers are able to fight for the championship, yet radio Hamilton saying speed up, so Rosberg can take the championship from you. Don't dare defend your title.

I'm not sure why you would say he is an under achiever. Maybe he just isn't as good as his dad/peers, whatever, which means he has actually over achieved!

If he was obviously so much better than all the other drivers of his generation but had never won the title, then he would be an under achiever.

I just thought he was a good driver, but not in the same league as Schumacher, Hamilton, Alonso etc.

Well my point was that anyone growing up in that environment should be a decent driver given that everything possible has been done to make him one, when you think about what Hamilton and his father had to do to get to where they are, Rosberg had the golden ticket with diamond studs from day one, by comparison it's taken him an absolute age to get to the top in F1, add to that him being gifted it by the team I think history will view him as a bit of spoilt brat that finally got his way then spat his dummy out.

Doubt it, he'll most likely just become 1 of a long list of one time drivers champions who came out on top at the end of a pretty unmemorable season. I really don't see history remembering much of him at all.
