Agreed on certain aspects of the wrx not being great. But nothing that a good set of coilovers, good brakes and an awesome exhaust system wouldn't sort out.

Good choice Captain

I've had a TDV6 HSE for the past 4.5 years and although I've had a couple of steep bills (£1.5k new compressor & new ARC & 7 year service), its been very reliable over the 40k miles its done & is a joy to drive. I've got no plans to change it currently as its a workhorse and it will cost less in maintenance/depreciation than I'd been spending on a newer model. Would love a S/C though.

Just about to blank the EGRs and give it a remap as one of the valves has started to seize, the only other "performance" upgrade was discs/pads from Godspeed to help it stop, which with the Brembos it certainly does

Good forum over at RRSport.co.uk and a couple of ex-Scoobynetters there.

Good choice

I recently sold my full fat Range Rover, 4 years 50k, really enjoyed it.

Had a few bits and pieces go wrong, but that's the joy of owning any car.
