the EU has over 20 bilateral agreements with the US alone
all these agreement - over a 1000 in all, with virtually every country on the planet, will be null and void, cease to apply to the UK
what does it mean?
well for farmers exporting Organic foods to the US
UK organic exports to the US are under "serious threat" unless a new equivalence agreement laying out organic standards is signed, according to a leading economist.
British organic farmers have been told there is a 'substantial' opportunity to export to the US due to its £28bn a year demand for organic food.
But leading independent economist, Séan Rickard, who was commissioned by the Organic Milk Suppliers Cooperative (OMSCo) to look into the value of this trade, said existing trade – growing annually - is under serious threat unless a new equivalence agreement in regard to organic standards between the two countries is signed before the end of this year.
The Observer reveals survey that shows a greater and greater proportion of the UK would prefer a 'No deal' and move straight to WTO for March 2019.
I for one agree
This is one of the things I find most disturbing, and I'm pretty sure the Leave campaign banked on it. It would prove so difficult negotiate that it would be easy to portray the EU as evil and controlling, thus convincing the doubters what a great decision it was to leave, after all. The great unwashed get whipped into a fervor of anti EU feeling, they will accept any old tosh the government sees fit.
It's not unlike Germany in the 1930s, but alas it took the near destruction of them to make them realise they had been led a merry dance.
If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently, it will be believed.
Despite most businesses and independent financial bodies saying what a bad idea it is, people, on the most part, are sheep.
Dunc.. Read up on how Monsanto (manufacture of GM crop and agro-weed killers that can be used on GM crops without killing them) have been influencing the EU government. It's only very recent that their ruse was highlighted by the green lobby forcing the EU to wash their hands of their previous over-friendly relationships and had to save face to avoid further corruption scandals. You may have to sift through the dumbed-down guardian articles as they only recently just scratched the surface.
Prior to this, the Monsanto lobby successfully got the EU to ban crop chemicals used by rival manufacturers, as far back as the 1990s it's been shown that money was exchanged between EU MPs and since former EU MPs are now directly employed by Monsanto cited as a golden handshake for their work within government on their behalf.
Whilst now in 2017 the EU, thanks to the green lobby had their hand forced...little has been done or said about how it was allowed to happen for 20years! Is it acceptable for the EU to take 20years to rectify one corruption problem?
I love this article in the FT over the weekend by John Redwood
Titled
"Time to look further afield as UK economy hits the brakes"
He helpfully suggest the Eurozone later on in the text - better growth prospects he says!!!!! (due to QA - that won't please the Austrian Schoolers!!!!)
And you wonder why people are laughing at the Brexidiots
PROMINENT Brexiteer John Redwood has advised investors to avoid the UK and take their pounds elsewhere.
Writing in the Financial Times, the veteran Wokingham MP suggested the smart money would be placed on the European Central Bank in an article titled 'Look further afield as the UK hits the brakes.'
Mr Redwood, who described the economic gains of leaving the EU as "considerable" before the referendum, wrote: "I sold out of the general share ETFs in the UK after their great performance for the year from early July 2016 when I saw the last Budget and heard the BoE's credit warnings.

AliB, Monsanto have been poisoning the world on an industrial scale for decades ; every time you see an orange brown field, that's Glyphosphate. They genetically modified soya to survive treatment with Glyphosphate, killing only weeds. Soya is one of the most widely eaten foods in the world, in more things than one might realise. Thought to be a safe alternative to Paraquat 30 years ago, it is now building up in the foodchain, and the EU plan to ban it. This will increase farm labour costs, then consumers, mainly because there isn't an safe chemical alternative. Monsanto have alot to lose, but is everyone prepared to pay more for their food?
I exactly know that and quite well versed (it all started when I researched as to why Glypho is one of the only weedkillers allowed for domestic use when many others were banned, I then took a wormhole that led me to reading thousand page documents on what they have been doing), ; But Dunc seems blissfully unaware that EU politicians (as well as other countries) were already in Monsanto's pockets before they were found out. In case of the EU it's taken them 20years to wake up and smell the coffee.

...and post Brexit, the UK politicians will be jumping straight back into their pockets!
You Remoaners now remind me of a bunch of old women, moaning and agreeing with one another.
"Oooooh, Gladys, isn't it awful?"
"Aye, that it is Edna".
" Ooooh, awful, Agnes..."
" Ooooh, yes, awful, Clara...."
Or Monty Python's Mrs Cutout....
Give it up...the rest of us have gone onto better things now.
Had 2 calls with clients (both major food manufacturers) this week on Brexit.
There are very real concerns out there about what is about to happen, investment is slowing and prices are rising. Meanwhile in your world (which is one of blissful ignorance) everything is just dandy.
The irony is you'll be the first to start moaning when things go up in price, and you have less money in your pocket.
