Since having the power upgrade, the 20 year old (next month) engine mounts had given up the ghost... on startup/shut down you could hear and feel the engine rocking and hear it clanging so I bought the Hardrace Engine/Box & Dogbone package, decided to change the dogbone myself (all two bolts haha) when I removed the standard STi part, the bush had come away form the main unit!!
so today I had the engine and gearbox mounts changed...it's changed the car so much!!!
gear changes are so much more smoother compared to before, the car feels tighter - probably a placebo... but most importantly - no banging on startup/shut down! thank god!!
not dont much else to be fair, been working too much.... next job is a to get the front wings corrected then the whole car detailed/protected/sealed and bring on this years shows and RWYBs.... dont laugh at me - I'm a noob haha

Hi mate nice build! Just wondering what do you think of the turbo and the trick up pipe? Also what rpm does your boost kick in? I'm having a 2.1 built also with the same turbo but I've gone for the large port Avcs heads instead

I have the larger port v3 standard heads, but your avcs will aid in you getting a quicker spool

Small update...
id noticed a high pitched rattle, I always thought it was the exhaust... managed to get under the car and traced the noise back to the actuator arm/wastegate!! It required half a turn (shortening the arm) to fully close the wastegate and stop the rattle.... wonder if any horses were escaping because of this?
yesterday was nice so managed to get the car washed/polished ready for Japfest... for those that see it - there's a few bits of paint required, but I want to keep it as minimal as possible as the car has has no paint so far...

removed impreza side skirts
As I say in the video, the car came from Japan with a couple snapped/sagging clips so decided to pull them off, hammerite anything that sits under the skirt and get a new set of clips (£3.90 on ebay is good!)
Next on the list will to buy the AEM Meth kit, fit it and get to Bob Rawle for another map to finally break the pub figure of 500bhp , currently sitting at 472/415, any guesses what I'll get with meth?.... tempted to remove some weight from the car also - not fully strip.

Why not just sell it?
What happens if all the tickets/numbers dont sell?
How are you taking payments?
Seen this numerous times now, and people claim their £ back if they dont win, or people kept waiting months because 5 tickets havent sold etc etc. Don't think i've seen 1 positive outcome from a facebook car raffle.
