Hinch is amazing though. I think she's thwarted the Dutch a few times before, in shootouts.

Yeah, 4 years ago, the Dutch had some serious hotties.
But I agree: this time,'man' for 'man', I think GB shade them.
Hollie Webb's beautiful, not insubstantial bewbs.
lol

Very moving, him trying to keep it together on the podium. His bottom lip was going.

So, do we think the latest games will have been worth taxpayers cash - apparently the London games feel good factor boasted sport take up for a while but didn't last
Although id have to say my impression is that more people cycle than did say 6 years ago

Wow, well done Mo for achieving the 'double double'.
Amazing, we've beaten London 2012's medal tally. 66 v 65, with a day left. First time a country has overtaken their own home games tally. History made.
If only, between them, Tom Daley and those two Taekwondo fighters could have gotten 2 more golds, then we'd also have matched 2012's gold tally of 29 too.

Paraphrasing a Chinese reporter:
"How can a tiny, separatist island country beat us into 2nd place!"
So gracious.

Team GB:
- Golds won over 15 sports.
- Any medal won over 19 sports.
Best all-round sporting nation: an Olympic Superpower.

Yes, I watched a bit of it. Then I got fed up with super OTT projections and not so pleasant music to my ears, so I switched the tv off. Yes, those shoes looked severe. The one who made GB players wear them deserves an official disciplinary and the one who designed them needs to grow up.
And I need to go to bed. I hope not to get any flashbacks/nightmares of those drastic shoes in my sleep.
