I run mine on 5.0 and use the 'clutch-safe' map since I've got a manual, so my torque figure (~330lbft) is around 30lbft light on what a DSG car can expect on the same 5.0 setting using the full bhuna map on the box. I've not adjusted the map or boost level since I installed it despite being on track, etc.

There's been no difference in drivability, response or economy really... the car just behaves as standard, with everything just turned up a little when you sink the slipper.

I can't wait. Passed my exact car (Lapiz Blue Estate) coming back up the A90 from the BTCC at Knockhill on Sunday. With the non-LED lights | | and slightly dirty tail pipes it was hard even for me to identify it until up close. Most mortals simply won't know and I'm banking on the JB1 allowing it to run 0-100mph in under 10 seconds - Sleeeeeeper

I can offer a view on this based on recent experience.

We have a golf r dsg on our fleet which I drove for a week recently. An awesome car, great quality, practical and I was surprised how quick it felt. But, like you, the dsg just wasn't doing it for me. Nothing at all wrong with it and I would imagine most would prefer it but for me I just love manual cars. So, off I trotted and drove a manual. You won't be disappointed. It's everything I hoped it would be. Actually felt quicker as you are fully in control of the gearing and it didn't do any surprising changes or that annoying 'hanging on to the gear' thing that all autos seem to do.

Provided the car is as described, you won't regret it. Enjoy!!!
