Hi all hope your all well. Cars back out of storage as is annually and put away for winter.

Made some minor changes nothing major.

Changed out the Advan AD08R tyres. I dont think im every going to track the car. So made sense t change to everyday good tyre. Ended up with some Michelin PS4's. Has excellent experience with them on the M5 and GTR.

Have removed the rear seats almost 3 years ago. The space was looking rather blank, so now its got a compete carbon fire wall, shelf and seat base. Finishes it off nicely.

Front number changed for a brand new one just out of choice because the other had one tab broken. Call me fussy.

Finally went back to Marks at TDR for just dyno run, few adjustments and changed coil packs for good measure.

and finally a good clean!

Went for spirited drive this evening. Amazing reception wherever it went. Good to be behind the wheel of Subaru again!

Have a good evening all.

It looks great but personally I'd raise the suspension a bit to get more travel.

I do agree. Mark has been un happy on much I asked to lower it by. Just a die hard old habit of mind. First thing I ever do is lower the car lol, It does rub ever so slightly on full lock sometimes. Id be lucky if I do more than 500 miles this year.

After being sold nearly 2 years ago, been in storage for 2 years, less than 400 miles covered, I have taken back ownership of the spec c type ra. Feels like a time warp, car is in the same exact condition almost untouched. Just glad to have it back. Sitting aside with with S206 NBR.

Lovely. Drive it more this time, life is short and otherwise you're just keeping it nice for the next owner!

Otherwise not much has changed. The drive is well balanced, sharp, directional, holds the road very well. Turbo spools very early on, and pulls strong to red line, the full RCM exhaust sounds well, previously had the Tomei system, whilst very loud, the RCM sounds better IMO. Flew through MOT, no advisories. For me its great value for money at the buy back amount, you simply couldnt build this now, for the money you would just get a base car from Japan. Prices are soft at the moment overall. But this is a turn key car, smooth, reliable and plenty of fun on the open road. Very happy to have it back.

The S206 on the other hand is silent, like a lexus, makes a great town car.

The Hawkeye RA is defo one I would like to get hold of one day when I move away from my heavily modified GR Yaris.

Cheers,

Phil

I had Rcm turbo back exhaust sounds really nice that, a lot money in this car with very good parts, similar to mine jdm spec
Yours is twin entry turbo me thinks ,graph does not looking best but its on oem 2.0l than not bad.
Did You swap headers to oem?
Rad and fans is a downgrade, oem fans are best.

The Yaris GR has been on my radar for sometime. Very popular, speaking to Litchfields, they get them in all the time for upgrades. Very desirable and great handling, fun.

Yes twin scroll, I think the power delivery and graph has changed since, TDR has been tinkering with it over time. Oddly it drivers really great, and pulls well and strong. Its got Tomei Headers if I believe and they ceramic coated in black.
Your right, but it was not my choice, new owner had an issue with the rad and had opted for Mishimoto stuff.

I have no direct intention to sell it, but a strong offer may sway me. As I also have my eyes on a S207.

I had a VF36 billet before. But it was excellent on spool up, but down the rev range, it was pushing itself too much and power was just not there on the top end. Great for quick sprints though.
