Pete: no not massive, a little under power. Possible actuator spring needs changing or the sard sports cat downpipe needs to go. Yep new RR is certainly in. Mirrors, lip and mudflaps and grill are all on, Its 99% complete.
The sti genome gauge is also a fiddle as the sensors are too new and wires dont match either.

Hi depending on what power your going for. I actually forgot about my sports cat and let it slip. It is ceramic coated and will potentially be up for sale if I go down that route. Realistically anything over 350bhp should really be straight through, At the topend the slightest restriction would have a little more affect than normal. Hence what im experiencing.
I also have to weight up, for the sake is another £400-500 worth the extra 5-10bhp?
Lets see how we get on.
Thanks

Seems like forever since I have driven this car. I finally have it back. Having pick it up during rush hour I never really had the opportunity to test the car or try some of the power. The ride is actually reassuringly smooth and refined. The turbo spool up time has also changed, kicking in later. Although noticeable, but doesnt seem to be an issue for me. But no doubt the VF36 hybrid did spool much earlier.
The final figure on the dyno was 444.8bhp and around 370 torque. The initial run was around 431bhp. Mark was not happy with it, so made further adjustments. I am running a sard sports cat down pipe, ceramic coated. In the next 2-3 months I will be changing my downpipe and my sard one will be for sale.
Im going to drive it more in the next coming weeks. Get the feedback and possibly make adjustments to the suspension. GEO is not complete and will be getting done next week. I will also be getting the car detailed and a proper photo shoot. I also aim to track it twice this year. I dont think a Impreza is an ever finished project, I truly believe the vehicle will continue to evolve.

Sorry mate! 18hr days takes its toll on you. I was mid-shattered while writing up, my eyes were closing lol. I am happy, but cant really provide any solid feedback, I cruised down the motorway straight home. I gave it some on the dual carriage way, yep it goes! I was just tired. I suppose im only 32 but ive been around cars all my life. Subaru is my serious passion. My daily is quicker than this lol. BUT I love subarus inside out! maybe with age excitement wears out? But im a happy chappy

Hi good morning guys and girls.
Just a catch up and update. Have the car back almost a month now. I tend to use it over the weekend if time allows. As you can imagine ive waited such a long time to finally getting close to how I actually want the vehicle, so have been driving it more often.
Feedback: This is really now a great package. It pulls in very gear insanely brutal acceleration, often bouncing off the rev limiter before straight into next gear. Personally I struggled with handling at first. The geo was not done and way out! So inorder to make the vehicle was perfect on geo setup, I added new whiteline camber bolts front and rear, including whiteline front bump steer correction kit.
Finally did the geo based on a fast road set up. A line in dudley are highly recommended. I can tell you its night and day difference! The car is now fully aligned and handles amazing, taking high speed corners for fun. As a close friend mentioned, it inspires confidence. Bare in mind this car is a great package out the factory. Its now far superior, more encouraging and the power setup is just about right. It dyno'd around 444.8bhp which im very happy with.
One of the main downfalls was the ride and handling prior to geo setup. Thats now completely taken care. I have a slight concern over down pipe as its a sard sports cat downpipe. Its potentially a tiny bit restrictive. Im a little cautious its not the best setup for this turbo. So im having a new RCM open neck straight through downpipe, will getting is ceramic coated just like the current down pipe. Current down pipe will be up for grabs just after end of march.
Im hoping with a tweek and change of downpipe with map sensor upgrade should see me closer or above 450bhp.
Future plans for now, enjoy it, track it and keep on top of the detailing side of things. If and when the engine ever decides to give up, that will be the next chapter to further evolve the power and engine.
Im happy for now and really enjoying whenever I get to take it out.
Thanks for everyone's comments, support and following.
Will upload some pictures soon.
Thanks guys.
