As the article points out (if that's what you're talking about), it may have been "suicide by cop" - the guy decided he'd rather go down in a hail of bullets than do 10 to 30 inside for the armed robberies he was wanted for.

 

I understand that situation, why does the press then seem to twist it to a white/ black issue.?

 

Some of these recently publicized shootings have a little more to them than that. Some are where cops were quite rightly protecting themselves. Others have been via shoot first and ask questions/think later reasons. Some have been outright racism.

Just here in Dallas with the average person I have seen incredible and unbelievable acts of open racism. Some cops are just the same.

 

Apparently the shooter was taken down by a police robot. Could this be the start of a real life Robocop?

robots have been obliterating people for years in Afghanistan etc

in fact they are developing AI algorithms where the robot actually makes the final decisions to end human life

 

Not long before Terminator becomes reality. Weaponising robots is just a matter of time.
Cyborgs will almost certainly be what we use to explore distant planets and other star systems. Eventually, Terminator style, they'll figure out they don't need us any more and take appropriate action. Imagine that!
