Pity Rashford and lindgard haven't quite perfected there finishing, but this is good practice for them.

Well, we're down as favourites. But agreed, last night was far too close for comfort

I'm not sure, i think united will do it, good experienced side, but Ajax have alot of youth and pace, so they can make good counter attacks. Lets see how it goes.

Seems our season is grinding to a halt, although we have had the handbrake on most of the season.

Ajax could be tricky

Rooney looks like he's ready for the glue factory after the last two performances

Lol i was hoping Rooney would make a come back, should just buy John Terry. He scored and gave an assist.

So IF and its a big IF Utd qualify for the ECL who would you like to see come in.

Michael Keane
Danny Rose
Tiemoue Bakayoko
Antoine Griezzman
Kylian Mbappe (or Kane) no change from 100m there then
Radja Naingolan (or Bale)

We'll probably only get Keane, if we're lucky

Nah, just my assumption

He said on Monday he is 60% likely to join Man U and followed that up on Tuesday admitting he is leaving Atletico but only said England, Italy China or America

Whilst I always root for the British team in Europe, I had to grit my teeth at the "look at me" antics of Josie-Maureen the Ho last night.

The first goal goes in, putting them on their way, EVERYONE ManU in the stadium is celebrating and that tw@ sits on the bench with a face like a wet weekend.

What a plonker. I depise the man. He epitomises everything that is wrong with British football at the moment.

Good result, a pot and ECL footy not a bad nights work.

I thought Maureen behaved himself, he wasn't going to jump the gun at 1-0 but showed his true feelings at the end. I also liked the way he b0llocked Pogba with 20 to go as he was show boating, you need a strong character to handle kids earming 2-300K a week.

It was clear from all the interviews United's players had been affected by Mondays events and it was even suggested they didn't want to play as it had affected them so much, lets not forget these guys are in and out of the MEN all season with their friends and families, we see the pictures all the time.

Well done United on hopefully bringing a little joy to a city in mourning.

Perhaps, but unless you follow the club, you might not just be aware of just how many times they've thrown away a 1 - 0 lead.
If you watch the interviews afterwards, you'd have seen a totally different man.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinions, but he's got them playing again, and winning more to the point. Something the previous two Alex Ferguson successors didn't do to good.

Got to agree i was happy when they scored, but one goal hardly worth celebrating, 2-0 then i felt relaxed enough to be happy.

poor game, great result from a long ball United
had to laugh at the end of the game when so many players hobbled onto the park with crutches and limps
no wonder we had to scrap and play the way we did, nobody will remember that, our names on the trophy :-)
JM, 3 trophies and counting, not bad, I didn't think he'd be any good for us, just shows how a teams fortunes can change with a confident & experience leader (+ financial backing) - well done JM, more of the same, at least 10 years dominance is the target ;-)
