That's because most of the old owners have sold up and moved on and the very few left with any technical knowledge can't be bothered to answer illiterate wrx owners using txt spk

 

The genuine folk on here I help gladly, however as TT says not many of them left and everyone is a expert these days with things they have "learnt" on FB

It would seem so mate, slate it as much as you want but it must have done some good in the long run

 

its done no good at all, there are more of the chavved up **** heaps on the road now sadly.

but on the plus side clean cars are commanding a premium its just the gap between the wrx with stickers and wing stiffies and the clean sti,spec c etc is getting wider and the average person doesnt know the difference.

There's more talk/threads/pics about "chavs" comming from these trolls than there ever would be from the actual supposed " chavs". They think they are doing us a favour by driving them off the forum but i know which i prefer.

 

Thing is, half the topics and threads are pointless nowadays, there's nothing actually worth reading. Every now and then I'll find a decent topic worth reading but that's getting even more scarce.
Is this what forums is supposed to be? I can understand a bit of a laugh from time to time but it's getting ridiculous.

As was mentioned earlier, it's turning into Facebook type rants.

 

I left facebook because I can't be bothered with all of the rubbish that happens on there. SN should be a platform for sharing information and problem solving, not arguing and nonsense threads. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a last post in a thread challenge to win.

I think it's because scoobynet has been around for so long now, that basically almost every technical aspect has been discussed several times already.
I must admit I don't come on here much anymore, because like you say all the threads get ruined by the same people, over and over again. Most of the stuff I "need" is already in the archives, and it's only a google search away

It is plastidip, as I've seen the car in its palsticness and know who the owner is. Its not great, and doesn't have the finish of paint.

 

 

how about take a decent car and put stupid colour wheels on it?
