Will i be able to fit a decent blanket without removing the turbo

Mines an SC42 shape

Yep. The SC42 is still roughly T3 size, so will still fit the same. Will be a squeeze and a struggle but will still fit.

It might not look the best but as long as it keeps the heat in the exhaust gas that's all I'm worried about . .this was done through RCM and Zircotec and I did consider the white like on the WRC car, but when it gets dirty it's hard to clean and you'll never getting it looking like new and ends up looking grubby. I think that would look far worse than black . . .hey ho each to their own . . .I won't mind driving about with a horrible looking exhaust

Holy thread revival! Sold that car years ago. Basically yes, the T3 turbo blanket will fit any of the standard subaru turbos like the TD or VF series. It fitted my Vf48 perfectly.

Haha. No problems.

These days I tend to buy better turbo blankets and am using a forge blanket I got from Alyn at AS Performance at a very reasonable price.
