Car looks fantastic apart from the eBay bonnet vent. Change that and it'll be spot on !!!!

Love the wheels too, really suit it! Nice job.

Thanks for the comments.

Why no love for the scoop? Are there alternatives to that in carbon. Or is it the fact that it is carbon which people don't seem to like?

I am in two minds about the carbon myself. Some days I like it, others I don't.

My son however, he's 11, says that all the carbon looks cool and I should not remove it!!

Your son knows more about cars than most people on here!

I don't like carbon on white cars personally. In fact I'm not keen on carbon full stop other than the fact that it is light!

I personally love the shape of the scoop. Just not sure on the carbon.

Carbon is fine but its just the size and shape of the scoop, its doesnt flow with the shape like a OE size one does but if your son loves it I would leave it on for him

Looking good I like the wheels. Again not sure about the vent but each to their own. Was the 2.1 a rebuild or a new engine?

Personally, I'd lose the carbon spoiler and scoop and the Subaru sticker at the top of the windscreen. But regardless, it still looks lovely as it is. Congrats.

I put the Subaru sunstrip on myself, I like the sunstrip as it does what its supposed to do, blocks the sun!

Im still debating on removing the carbon. Only reason its still on there is I've spent enough money on the car this month!

Yes, on the odd occasion there will be some contact with the arches. Thats the reason for the stretched tyre look, try to minimise the contact.

But going forward, I will probably have ABW arches added to the car so I can run some wide tyres without the stretch look!

Small update.

Managed to kerb an alloy!!

Not happy as the wheels have only been on the car a matter of weeks. But fear not, I've ordered a replacement wheel, will put a cheap tyre on the curbed one and use it as a spare.

Over the weekend I fitted AP Racing 6 pot calipers and 355mm Godspeed J hook two piece discs on the front. Braking is now transformed.

Couldn't fit the braided lines as it looks like someone had tried to undo the copper brake line and rounded the connector. May look at getting a brake line flaring tool or buy a ABS delete kit to get it sorted.

Will post a couple of pics shortly.

Cheers

No, I don't.

But I saw a kit on here that replaces all of the hard lines, marketed as an ABS delete kit. But I am sure that the company that makes the kit could knock something up for me.

Not sure if I would be better off getting a flare tool and making my own lines, or buying braided hoses to replace all of the hard lines. I imagine that even braided hoses have some form of movement as opposed to hard lines. No?

Its has the bumper and side skirt spats on, gives it the slightly lower and more aggressive look

Thanks for the pictures, your car is lovely

Just out of interest, what exhaust system have you got on the car, I am trying to find a suitable replacement, but not having much luck.

Would like a titanium one, but shipping costs from Japan are pretty astronomical! Seen one on eBay, but not so sure about buying a used exhaust!
