Sorry for the late reply ,, it's a forced performance turbo , it's there none billet version of the red (one that's 750 dollars , you should see a review at the bottom from England , that's me aswell lol) , they now do a billet version aswell , they were very helpful in making sure I had all the right bits needed to fit the turbo and so far iv been very impressed with its results , and even had a comment from bob Rawle about how well it was working

Here is there Subaru range of turbos , you need there inlet pipe aswell as they have there own size of inlet on the front housing but it seems to work very well

Not really in a position to discuss numbers etc I'm afraid, take my advice and get one, that's coming from someone who already had a good turbo with the sc46 billet and replaced it with the precision

Don't forget the slight chopping/grinding to the block and box housing to make it fit.

 

Well taken the plunge and bought a RCM Precision 525 rated turbo to go on my08
sti forged hatchback,got to run new engine in over the next 2 weeks before can get any power figures as I've found it hard to find any dyno graphs with this turbo on a 2.5 engine
hoping to get close to 500 bhp on v power

 

Ive also just bought this - to go onto my CDB 2.1 with 14mm stud conversion... Hope I can hit the magic 500 with Bob Rawle, yes I know BHP is nothing but a number, but it's the number I want to dick swing in the pub with haha

Possibly, depends how much boost you're able to hold up the top end.

 

You'll need some injectors but I'm guessing you just missed them of the list

 

You'll need 500 to compete with 450hp classics

Gotta agree with this. I've got just over 700 in my full weight Hawkeye and that runs a 10.9 on the quarter. That is identical to what my classic did which was 200hp less.

 

Yep, my classic on low boost (490 something) is doing 11.06....

That was just as I turned up, no faffing with pressures, no launch control etc. A 10 should be easy in it when I do the tyres...

 

100hp less going by signature?

 

You're making assumptions although my signature could be worded better . My 10.9 in the classic was done at circa 500bhp (flywheel). The car later made 601bhp flywheel again with a few changes but I never got to run it down the strip with that power.

The 10.9 in the Hawk was done at a tad over 600 wheel horse power so a tad over 700 at the flywheel.

Anyone else got graphs/specs to add to the thread? Have to admit I'm leaning towards one of these having previously wanted to either go 321t or sc46

 

Id take the precision every time,
