To answer the OPs question. Yes I think many imprezas are over priced. And yes, it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
Seems very common these days where people add some mods to the car (most of which are cheap rubbish or not needed) and then think their car is worth considerably more than a std model.
It's your money. Spend it wisely is the best advice I guess.

Does anyone know about car reg RVO6 CMO as we have been looking at it at a dealers in watford , they want £15k for it which seems like a lot of money tbh , very nice modded car though

I really don't get all the moaning on this forum about traders and their pricing.
There is nothing unusual, illegal or immoral about buying a car from wherever you find it and sticking a higher price on it. Tescos and the like do the same thing with their commodities all the time. I don't see anyone moaning about the price of Ferraris or Porsches perhaps because they are expected to command a certain price and maybe we don't realisticly aspire to own one. Something more common like a Subaru we expect should be cheap because, well, it's more common isn't it.

It's called business, and it's governed by the rule of supply and demand. A dealer will only price a car according to what he thinks he can get for it.
It's simple really, if you want it badly enough then cough up.
If you can't afford/stomach the asking price then perhaps your aspirations are too high and you need to vote with your feet. If enough prospective buyers do this the prices are sure to fall.
And no I'm not a trader.

Prices are on the up and the council house touring car is getting harder for bellends to afford

I went to a dealer in Watford to look at this exact car on Saturday , they want 15 k for it , standard interior now , think it looked better on your pic tbh .
