Or as it's sometimes known, I'm alright Jack, fek everyone else.

Where DO you draw the line? If you knew someone was selling drugs outside a school? If you knew a paedo was hanging round a playground? If you knew there was a killer stalking your family?

Do we just ignore wrong-doing so long as it doesn't affect us personally?

Do you ever stop your incessant whining?

There is "**** everyone else" and then there is sticking your nose in at every opportunity.

Have you ever thought about joining the curtain twitchers or the pigs?

Edit

Selling drugs is illegal, whether outside of a school or not. A peado can hang around in a play park, as long as he is not committing a crime...

Or would you assemble the lynch mob?

I can see you are trying to wind him up however, if I knew a paedo was hanging around a school, play area or anywhere vulnerable children were I would certainly report them to them police or even take appropriate action, any self respecting person would.

Is that including without proof that he may or may not be?

Anyway it is somewhat moot, I was just indulging alcazar's pointless fallacy...

put it this way without proof you still have the right to report suspicious activity especially someone hanging around a child occupied zone like schools or parks if they look weird.

Most people if questioned by the police wouldnt be bothered if they are not up to anything.

If i recall, its no biggy being hit by an uninsured driver.

All the insurance companies have provision for this event.

The funding from which comes from your own premiums!

yup were paying for uninsured drivers lol.

I dont know why we dont adopt the policy they have in Oz,

When you register your car, it automatcally includes a basic 3rd party cover.

This means any persons you injure will be covered

Its in the drivers own interests to top it up with 3rd party insurnace that

covers there own vehicle & driver.

There is also the provision for fully comp, which works the same as comp over here

And?

Lose your NCD?

Lose your excess?

And if it's no biggy, why are the government going to such lengths to catch uninsured drivers?

BTW: stop trying to wind me up, it doesn't work.

To answer the original question, in the event on an accident the insurers would void the policy, but would still pay the damaged/injured 3rd party.

They'd then take the policyholder to court to reclaim those costs.

Who would sell drugs outside a school ? School kids have not got enough money for drugs, and drugs pretty much sell themselves they don't really take a lot of selling the whole addiction part kind of takes care of that.

You really are one of those old freaks who thinks there are mac wearing paedos and shady drug dealers hanging around outside schools just waiting to get your children. Kind of like my mum and dad actually, they both think weed is almost as dangerous as crack, wait alcazar are you my dad ? He is a grumpy annoying old ****er too......

What if you purchased the car modded and did not know that it had upgraded brakes or a remap ? How much knowledge would you be expected to have to make sure the car you purchased was standard ?

I'd say that's unlikely, as the person selling the car would probably advertise such claims on uprated parts to justify his price and sale

It's your responsibility to know what car you're insuring and what's been done to it.

Surely there's an element of due diligence and reasonable expectation involved? You couldn't reasonably expect the average driver to know what parts should and shouldn't be on a car (unless aftermarket parts were explicitly stated at the time of purchase).

Conversely you'd like to think that someone who buys an Evo/Impreza would have a reasonable grasp of what it is they're buying and they'd be able to recognise bits that are aftermarket.

Just because its 'no biggie' to be hit by an uninsured or incorrectly insured driver doesn't make it right.

My car was written off by some f*ckwit who took his mates car and T boned my parked car. Way back then no fund existed to cater for uninsured idiots and as I couldn't afford fully comp insurance at the time and only had 3rd party F&T, I lost my car.

Unsurprising I have zero tolerance for uninsured idiots, they need taking off the road and the maximum punishment the law allows to be applied.

If I had my way their car would be seized and crushed whilst they were made to watch as well.
