lol. You know what I mean! Stoopid "smart" phones.
Although after saying all that I'm now waiting for Andrew Carr to get back to me. Great. This morning my car suffered 4 fuel/ignition cuts for no apparent reason on the way to work. Not over revving and for no reason I can see. I've left emails and messages and now awaiting a call back. I used my last days holiday on Thursday to get the car done on my Dad's birthday of all days.
Nothing is ever straight forward! Hopefully it's something simple.

Just spoke to Andrew Carr and he's been very helpful indeed. Few things for me to check, which I've mostly checked and confirmed already. Possibly the new 3 port solenoid or a split vacuum pipe somewhere to check initially. I've already checked all the boost pipes and couldn't see a think wrong, but will double check just in case. Doesn't think it's the MAP sensor at fault, which was my suspicion. Andrew thinks it's probably boost control somehow.
Going to do some data logging and see if the fault returns again.

Had the same fuel cut problem yesterday on the way to work, but this time I managed to capture it in the data log file. Was not quite on full throttle in 3rd gear accelerating up and it cut again at just 5k rpm and 61mph speed. Fuel pump was on 100%, injectors below full duty cycle, no sign of knock that I could see, no over-boosting either, all well within limits for boost. So I really don't know.
Sent the data log to Andrew Carr straight away yesterday morning but not heard anything back yet. Hopefully it can be sorted as it's very annoying indeed.

Still waiting for Andrew Carr. I'm getting a little frustrated now that it's still not working.
Andrew did finally reply to one of my emails and said he's been working full on long days since his return from holiday to try and catch up. I understand he's busy, but I just want my car fixed and working again. grr

Throttle position was around 94% when it cut out, fuel pump duty cycle was at 100% right the way through the acceleration in 3rd until it cut. Injector duty cycle was around 80% until it cut. Fuel learn was at -4% throughout the acceleration.
Was wondering myself it it could be something down to the fuel pump?

If the pump duty is 100%, is that saying the ecu is calling for 100%, or is that telling you it's flat out and there's nothing more to be had. If it's the former that doesn't actually tell you what the pump is delivering. If it's the latter that doesn't sound like safe operating territory to me.
For me, I would want to see a pressure read out at full power demand. You could just take a punt at the pump being down on performance and change it, but that's a bit of a shotgun approach.

I'm relatively sure it isn't the pump now. Although I'm STILL waiting for Andrew to look at the data, I did manage to catch up with Darrell at Scoobyworx to discuss the pump. He said that he's never seen fluctuations as a failure mode, only failure to supply. Basically, if the pump isn't working right it doesn't supply fuel.
Fuel pressure wouldn't really be a problem for me as the pump is well over specified for the job. It's a 340L/h pump which is WAY more than I need to achieve 350bhp. My last car ran a 255L/h pump at this level just fine, but I wanted belt a braces with this car. The Foz also has a completely new fuel system, new hard pipes, new flexi-pipes, new filter, new fuel pressure regulator etc. I was running the SWRD pump for a good month before the car got mapped with no issues like this at all.
Basically, the job of the fuel pump is to supply fuel and pressurize the fuel rails to ensure that there is enough fuel available for the injectors to use. It's not a fine adjustment like injector pulse, so I'm not too worried at seeing 100% on the fuel pump duty cycle.
I'll have Andrew confirm this, but I don't think it's a fuel supply problem. I think something else is triggering fuel cut like boost control. I've received some new VAC pipe today so at lunch time (if I get a chance to stop) I'll re-run all the boost solenoid vac lines and see if that solves it.

The restrictor pill is no longer in the system. Andrew plumbed the 3 port for me before mapping (after consulting his phone, presumably the internet to check). He's replaced the original pipes to the turbo (which would have been 1 single pipe previously) with 2 new silicone lines to the compressor housing and actuator. Neither of which contain the restrictor pill. I have the original pipe laying around off the car now which still has the pill in it and I don't just want to put the pill back in now he's mapped it without a pill.
Not entirely sure how that will effect the boost control to be honest. As Darrell from Scoobyworx said, I'm sure Andrew knows what he's doing so I'm not going to question it. I'm just going to replace like for like with new house to eliminate split or leaking hoses.

After replacing my pipes all was well and he did give it a once over again

I'll have a look at it all tonight and run some new pipes. Fingers crossed that sorts it. The only thing that I'm not sure about is that a pipe off or split/leaking would normally cause over-boosting and fuel cut as a result. The logs I took show boost under control and certainly not above target boost levels for the entire run.
No idea if I'll hear from Andrew again, but you never know. I'm a little annoyed as I also got overcharged for the mapping session from the original quote he gave me and I didn't get any of the map features I'd been discussing prior. Andrew was really pushed that day and very busy indeed. He even forgot to remove the basic speed limiter I'd asked to do as part of the map. Also, I was in too much of a hurry to hang around on the day after the mapping as it was my elderly Dads birthday that day and I was already 3 hours late with a 2 hour journey ahead of me.
Will update once I've tried it later.

Been busy is fine but it does that excuse something not been right and not getting what you were overcharged for!

I'm a very patient person (within reason) and I'll give Andrew every opportunity to sort it out if and when he can. I don't want to turn this into an Andrew bashing thread as he came highly recommended and I really want to give him a chance to get it right.
The other trouble is he doesn't travel any further south than Pole Position and that's still 2 hours north of me. I used my last days holiday to get it mapped 3 weeks ago and I don't have any more days holiday left this year to drive back to Pole Position on a Thursday to let him play with the car again. He indicated it shouldn't be necessary as he could send me an updated map, cable and instructions if needed to re-blow the ECU myself, but in my heart I know I'd rather he sorted it face to face.

The fault might have shown up before I left if he'd spent more than half hour on my map on the day. He only managed 3 runs out. Base map, increased boost and final check. I know he was busy, but even I was a little surprised it was done so quickly as Duncan spent a good 3 hours mapping my previous car.

I wouldn't be happy with that at all....
Martyn spent 2 days on mine. I know mine is a little different but even so 30 minutes is outrageous.
