Sweatshops and marketing campaigns make the best products, all the smart people know that.

That is it, my elder 2 kids have had enough of apple-down to me not paying. In the past 2 years my kids have had 5 iphones, that is the number of, not model 5. All have been replaced (at my f**king expense) due to poor battery performance, random lockups and or cracked screen. Well last night my kid came down stairs and said his iphone 6 slipped off his bed and, you guessed it, smashed the screen. 18 inch fall onto wood, jesus
Bag of sh!te apple build! Never again will I be paying to repair apple junk.

I totally believe that glass can be smashed and batteries don't last forever, you it seems don't. Can't wait to hear about your magic replacements.

The problem is the last phone I cracked a screen on was my RaZR V3. All of my phone have gone the distance, never broken, despite literally hundred of drops. I have never seen so many screen fails, but only from apple. My lad says a good proportion of his friend's iphones have cracked screens. The unibody design made out of aluminium does nothing for shock protection.

Its called a "phone case" works really well at protecting the phone. Effective ones can be had from about £6.99

I'm not "defending" Apple, nor am I "attacking" you.
Hol asked where to go to bleat like a baby and have a total fairy fit. I merely drew the conclusion from your opening post that your house would be a suitable place, given the tone of that post and your somewhat sensationalist thread title.
Its called "banter" pimmo. you might want to lighten up a bit

Make your kids pay for the screen and I bet they'll last longer.

I'm a huge fan of banter, Apple fanboys just get under my skin.
I don't use the word often, but it's pathetic.. oops.

Posting this so Pimmo's curious and to point out that he posted this, it wasn't a response to a Fanboy. Id suggest that if Fanboys wind you up you shouldn't post Fanboy bait.

Apple apologies for 'error 53' and issues fix
With impending class action

“This was designed to be a factory test and was not intended to affect customers. Customers who paid for an out-of-warranty replacement of their device based on this issue should contact AppleCare about a reimbursement.
Boll@cks, they tried it on and were caught

Still sensible to err on the side of caution. The people who paid got a good deal, new fully working phone without dodgy components for nothing, good work Apple.

It like having your car stolen, abused by the thief. When it is returned most people don't want that car, it is tainted. It is not the car, it is the memories it invokes.
