have to say john, for someone only on their second track day you were doing very well .I might have been a bit quicker through the corners last night as I was not going for the big slides, plus with all the damp patches I thought I better try and go home with a complete car .
does anyone know anything about the evo,or is anyone registered on the lancer board who could post and find out?

Just checked my digital photos from last night, not very many decent stills but I do have two or three short video clips which are interesting - JB going past an Exige up the straight (Blitz sounds fantastic) and T-uk going at it with one of the Evo 6's.
If anyone want to see them I can email them to you , each are about 1mB tho.
Great night tho, thanks to the two Johns for the passsenger laps. Must admit clean undies were required after being out in the blue one

Please send the video Chris (ADSL is usually quick). I'll probably need 350 BHP just to be in with a chance against T-uk Mind you, isn't that what Sam needed too

now, now JB
just because t-uk overtakes you don;t have to compare yourself to me , remember my car was not always 320bhp! only at the end of it is days. but still i don;t remember t-uk ever overtaking me. it is just you mate

Imitation is flattery Sam Give me some practice and a little flap at the back of my head through which my brain can be extracted so I can put it in the glovebox, plus 50 BHP more than John and I might be in with a chance

basically have you ever spun the car yet? just ask john stewart how many times did i spun my 1 month old subaru when i first started
he used to come over and remind me that we have free instructors with the sidc days very subtle.
you need to find the limit first

hi sam,
never spun.......yet,got that to look forward too .
second time off track, first was in the rain at hairpin when I took to the grass rather than fight it and hit the tyre wall.
you got mail by the way

i just meant generally going off the track. i went off at dufus after 3 laps the first time i was there. after that it is usually mcintyres that i hate ( usually go off there once a while )
i have got pics of your spin at the hairpin some where with you sticking your head outside and under the car for a bizzare reason
YHM

My 'second best' off at knockhill was approaching the hairpin in the cossie at circa 120 mph....stab brake pedal and it just hits the floor with no resistance (boiled fluid) Handbrake, 3rd gear, turn wheel.....spin 2 - 3 times and end up still on track facing the right way !!
If only it had been meant to happen it would have been well cool !!!

"are you selling the scoob or u just keeping it as a drag car now "
Neither ! Just no way the Scoob is going on Knockhill just yet with 350+ bhp and std discs with 2 pot calipers !
Even this little Westfield type thing I've bought has bigger brakes than the Scoob and it has less than half the power !
Sam, I'm still interested in your Brembo calipers if you're considering an AP kit for the EVO7 ?
