Quite! It's likely he has done it before, and similar stuff and everybody would have known what he's like. It's unlikely to have been a one-off "moment of madness". If the owner was unaware then they need to either sack the manager, or take more of an interest themselves in how their employees behave!

What ***** Scooby Clinic turned out to be!!!

The owner has proven how dishonest they really are by trying to portray the OP as some kind of psycho, seems to me that Kev from Scooby Clinic is the one that needs his head tested.

He chose to employ those two peices of ****, posted lies on other forums, implied the OP is a nutjob, and refused to help the customer.

I will never spend a penny of my hard earned at a garage with a manuipulative b1tch as the owner and a bunch of inbred neanderthals as employees, the fan boys are even worse, paying thousands to get shafted up their own ****, yet still defend these greedy rats. There also seems to be posts from people that are quite clearly Scooby Clinc shills/employees on this thread, one of them is probably Kev.

Scooby Clinic quote £250 Scooby Clinic bill £1500 for faults that were not present before, specialists in ripping people off.

Scooby Clinic owe the OP a brand new car!!

Ben you deserve a medal for having the courage to stick to your guns and kudos for going straight to the tabloids!

Well put. Putting the customers car through abuse is one thing, but then turning on the customer publicly trying to bully & discredit the guy goes to show the type of character the owner is. There's no coming back from that, and I bet he is kicking himself for doing it now.

I'm definitely never taking my scoob there.

Are they? I know of two SC46's that started to blow from the exhaust housing due to the way it was welded. One was sent to Turbo Dynamics where it had a proper housing fitted at the owners expense and the other was sent back to SC under warrant but the owner waited 4 months for it to be returned!

They are not the only SC46's to suffer the same issue.

A short statement explaining he was investigating into the OPs complaint and would be dealing directly with him would have sufficed. To go around blindly swinging at a customer in front of your other customers is just ridiculous and not how you run a business of any sort.

My 42 is at owens getting rebuilt.. Only as a lamda went through it. They are changing a few things inside to make it better than standard..

Not seen anything about housings leaking, but then haven't had issues so haven't looked!

Is it a problem with only the 46 then?!

I don't think the turbos are actually changed in house. I personally think they are just rebranded blouches. Not 100% on that tho lol

Only difference is that from Blouch you can choose the turbine housing size on some of them. They all say bpt or blouch on them.
Mine:

" Test driver and passenger get into car, the driveway leading upto the premises is loose gravel, flooded and heavily pot holes. I'm talking 2-3mph tops in a lowered car.
He drives at 30mph down potholed roads apparently AIMING for potholes as the passenger laughs and the car continuously bottoms out and smashes. Passenger is heard saying 'You'll smash his ****ing alloys, least he'll forget about the brakes then'.
They reach smooth road and start thrashing the nuts off the car. Driver is heard saying 'sounds like the turbo is on it's way out but I won't mention that'.
'Brakes don't feel like a normal STI'
'If you pump them a few times they feel fine'

Passenger is heard
'Ay nowt wrong with them he's full of ****'
( impressioned accent ) 'I'm from London I'm a ****'

Test drive goes on for 20 minutes whilst they dribble on about other non related stuff.

Arriving back at the pot holed road the driver now goes even faster and still aiming for potholes.

Passenger is heard
'You missed one'

Driver is heard
'With any luck I'll burst a ****ing tyre, that'll **** him off'

End of recording.

I'm more worried that if they treat customers cars this way, would their after sales support for parts be any better?

Or would I just be a lier if a problem occurred with the turbo lol.

when you listen to the bid thats absolute rubbish,

the comment about bursting a tyre is actualy to do with fixing the road, nothign to do with deliberatly damaging the car. Go listen to the video rather than the made up transcript.

there's so much crap being spouted about its unreal.

The video is bad and the mechanic has left the company. But making up blatant lies to egg people on is not good either

Well it seems to have gone viral, just waiting for my mates out here to send it to me.

Real shame for those left at the company who will no doubt be tarred with the same brush, even though the chap responsible is now out of a job.

I wouldn't want to be in his shoes right now, what a bloody pr4t he must feel right now.

As for the passenger, I don't think he should be held responsible for the actions of the driver, he wasn't the one behind the wheel, although some of his comments were a little silly I don't think they were in anyway responsible for the actions of the driver, he was obviously on a mission and p1ssed for what ever reason.

I'm sure there's a great deal of soul searching going on up there right now, they're the talk of the world wide web for all the wrong reasons.

Any word from them yet?

They commented a while back.

It's funny how when one bad thing happens it all kicks off, when they break records and beat Ken block no one cares. Show what people are truely like that doesnt it
