Was watching your build and am gutted for you that this is how it ended. That sucks.

Still, as ditch says.. onwards and upwards!

The next reincarnation will be even better now!

Where did you find that 2.35 from, is it a short motor or full engine, the only 2.35's I have done lately are in the back of drag VW Beetles & flatbeds.

If you need a spec of it e mail me the engine number.

Bit of a update.
So I've been speaking to Andy at WMS about a 2.35 build and this is the spec I'm thinking of building
Hi mate looking at this spec for engine
block bored and faces skimmed
Rear thrust conversion
acl main bearings (race series)
Mahle motorsport big end bearings
ej257 heat treated crank
11 oil pump
Crower rods
(arp2000 bolts) maybe use crower ones instead
Ceramic omega pistons
New crank seals
14mm head stud conversion
AS Performance twinscroll baffled sump

Spec c heads supplied by me and converted to 14mm

Rite guys,

The mapping was finished off on the car today. The car made 400/445 at 1.4 bar but wouldn't make anything else.. should run 1.7 all day long no problems so ahead jase went looking fir obvious things, boost leaks etc.. then I got hold of Simon from chevron, turns out my turbo is best suited to a 2.0 or 2.1 engine. Not a 2.35 he has told me that the exhaust housing in the turbo is to small so that's why on a 2.35 it won't make the power and on a 71 mm wheel when it would be better on a 73mm wheel. Car km told spools crazy! Looking forward to picking it up tomorrow. Not the power I wanted but hey.. its fixed and I can look later in the year of adding a bigger turbo.

Almost same symptoms my turbo has, 7cm exhaust housing is too small for a 2.5 so it spools like a mother****r but wont hold past 4000rpm. Turbo is currently off getting an 8cm TD06 ceramic housing and lightweight shaft with high flow wheel so should see me north of 400 without needing meth.
