Other than get a rise out of the stupid i see no issue
You are clearly not stupid but as you say your getting a rise out of this and you have a cool gt86.
Why would you keep going on about other stuff, just add your working ideas

no getting a rise out of that John fella.
Genuine question about jdm v UK differences in hatch variant.
I have no idea other than the engines.

Basically the same, even the ecu's can be switched between JDM(JP00)/ EURO RHD(EK00)/EURO LHD(EC00)/Middle East(KS00), which also effects some of the market options fitted.
UK cars have Double locking locks plus Sigma S series Alarm to give CAT1 alarm status.
JDM uses a different frequency for security features , single locking locks and no CAT1 alarm.
Then you have UK 330s and later which have the higher spec of keyless access (as against keyless entry) with push button start and Recaro seats.
JDM has the "20th Aniversary edition" which includes the above plus nearly everything produced by STI in the suspension department.
JDM also has the SpecC which comes with a variety of option packs, so most in the UK vary to some degree or other.
Various other minor differences due to destination market requirements.

My car has recaros
heated front screen
push button start
And quick rack
I thought you might think that there's a jdm hatch trend going on for dismantling and waxing, when infact Raggy has been doing that since last November in his central heated garage.
no mate not a trend we are enthusiasts it’s what we do
I love taking my car to bits and waxing as any enthusiast does
raggys car comes out in a really nice blue fleck as I remember but he ain’t been waxing for a while the lazy kant
100 percent fella just need seat time now with it and enjoy it
trouble is its 30 miles away in garage and travel restrictions wont be lifted until end of summer so doubtful its on the road this year spring 2021 more likely
I've not laid eyes on it since October 2019
And it has a fuel leak by one of the rails
needs to be sorted
I must admit I do enjoy the 5 hour clean after I drive
before I put it away the wife is driven mad

on the plus side mate, if you ever rediscover your love for it then it’s there, waiting and all pimped out with syvecs, sc42 etc etc....how can that not put a smile on your face..
btw...you say you car is laggy with the sc42 on it, was it laggier with the Owens turbo on it? And what happened to that Owen turbo? Cheers
Shame you've lost the love Gary. Hope that you regain it, matey.
naw , I’m done with it bro have been for a few years could even see it on here to strip yet or will I leave it in the garage for another bit as you can see zero interest in it tbh
