The video does not show a member of staff purposely driving a customers car at pot holes, as you can see there unavoidable due to bad weather before the customer attended site. The commentary is not aimed at the car owner neither. When the title of a video posted on daily mail states "employees deliberately drive car at potholes" your instantly brain washed with a negative. The daily mail forgot to mention a lot of things in there story, showed a picture of the owner with his daughter, never mentioned the fault he drove from Essex for was brake fade at 120mph on track, hope he strapped his daughter in well at those speeds! Nor did they mention he had been to 2 other garages before coming to us and the whole brake system was brand new. believe all you like from the papers, website, etc.... none of that reflects the work we do or the quality of work we send out the door.

not once have i questioned your work or knowledge, i agree the work you have done is top notch. i'm merely pointing out that everyone makes mistakes, like yourselves with the pot hole incident.

Like urself, also an MLR and ex Evo owner, again half the facts were not put on mlr just same as daily mail. As previously stated, ur welcome to drop me a line at work or inbox by all means. Thats in a friendly way too.
Agreed, mistakes happen, but the context these are portrayed determines peoples judgement and opinion, which shouldnt be the case, base an opinion on experience not hear say....
Anyway, back on topic....

You guys have done everything I’ve asked for Dan and more
the car looks awesome to be fair
the car was basically dead it would hardly start and if it did run
was overfuelling and stuttering between 2800/3000rpm
The car was basically floating in the abyss and ye have saved it
make no bones about that I was on the verge of pulling it to pieces

Now, I go on and map your car anyway and take your money for my good work and leave you with a car that runs like crap. Would you say that I am a “Dick”? (or “Bob” maybe?)
And would you need to provide proof, like a video or something, of me mapping your car to prove your point that if your car was faulty, I shouldn’t have taken your money or mapped your car until it was mechanically 100%?
Now imagine a company or trader provided you with some faulty goods. And you asked for a refund and you didn’t get it. Wouldn’t you leave them some deservedly bad feedback on Google or Facebook or anywhere you could, in order to warn other potential customers? Would you need to post a video of them online or some other proof to make your point? And wouldn’t you possibly take them to the Small Claims Court to get your money back?
What has Raggy done wrong again?

Dude stop comparing apples and pears as it only makes you come across as a troll. Assume for a moment that I’m a mapper about to map your car. I put my gear on the car and discover that your car is not running properly due to suspected mechanical shortfalls.

Mine was the same after the remap, overfuelling like a pig, stuttering between 2800/3000, idling very erratically. Mine was a UK though and guess who mapped it. First I was told by the mapper that it was the front lambda, then the MAF, then the RCM fuel pump “as they are now plastic and made in China”. I changed the front lambda and the MAF and the pump (about £600-£700 for the parts alone) and guess what, the car was still the same.
Decided to cut my losses and let it go
Decided to cut my losses and let it go
we changed everything even blanked the dump valve off
hopefully all this is behind me and after almost 4 years I can finally Drive it

Raggy,
You do know that the Revision A JDM Hatch (your model) should only has "STI Impreza" on the back
as does the revision B.
For Revision C onwards it was just "STI"

Love me or hate me it will be my last week on the forums
they have kept me sane and motivated while the car was off the road and
throughout the build at the clinic
going to drive and enjoy it over the coming months , literally drive away into the sunset in my jdm hatch
