on your syvecs you'd have the option of using one of the fuel/timing tables with some pops and bangs to switch through or see if they would be happy to run ALS but on an extremely weak setting so it's just pops and bangs not boost producing/20% throttle kick/-40 timing etc. and you could knock it on and off from the toucan.

Tought I was finished last week tbh
but here we go again
think your getting single scroll and twin scroll mixed up - std twin scroll headers are full tubular and are best for up to 550hp. headers that are being used are the issue with spool. porting them also is a backward step on the std twin scroll headers.
Great first post! And no, I'm not getting anything mixed. I was talking single scroll as I was replying to Lewis who is also going SC42 but single scroll version and who was talking about headers and upgrade limit. It is widely acknowledged that the standard single scroll cast headers if ported are good up to 400bhp, after that tubular is better. I also appreciate that Lewis may have been referring to Raggy's headers now I read back which are twin scroll, in which I agree with you.
lewis asked if the std headers were changed as its common knowledge the std ones are best - you answered stating std ones are restrictive after 400hp which is incorrect.
You beat me to it RAGGY. Droplink obviously knows more than us and my genuine JDM single scroll must have never existed then.
Try not to mess RAGGYS thread up, he's already had too many keyboard warriors on here.
Any news on the mapping then bud?

post count must mean i'm a newby with no knowledge so forgive me for my ignorance and questioning your superior knowledge on all things Subaru. You of course are correct on single scroll but this is a thread about a JDM car and a man of your knowledge will know they are only available in twin scroll :-)
