Thought you'd already blown it up and replaced it a few years back...on your previous profile...How many WRX engines have you been through

I can't see most of this as I have chosen not to partake in aRSe_Matt's loonacy any more, but at a guess I would say he's got a new pack of funny **** for Crimbo.

You know what they say, you don't know when you're dead, it's just difficult for the others.
It's the same when you're aRSe_Matt.

Once upon a time....

To be fair to aRSe_Matt though, if he wasn't posting daft threads like this then we'd only have another raft of threads entitled "It's so quiet in here" or "Where has everyone gone" or "The good old days" blah blah blah.

Besides, discussions with Matt are like reasoning with my 2 year old son.

No offense Matt.

The End.

I was hoping Matt would open his own garage building and tuning Subaru's,

Think Matt would do really well, as to a newbie who has just bought a WRX, Matt would sound like a god to them with his stories of beating supercars, 0-60 times under 3 seconds, and myth busting tuning facts that he can usually back up with videos from You Tube of WRX's doing the quarter mile in the USA!!!

Yep, go to your User CP, select the last item in the third category down from the menu on the left (Edit Ignore List), add the desired name to the list, voila!

Original engine still. And this is my original profile. RE Motorsport compression tested it and told me the cylinder walls were shot after using a bore scope. So basically my shagged 300lbft WRX would waste any production STI and it's compression is so low across all 4 cylinders that I might aswell be running on 3 healthy ones! 1500cc STI destroyer.

Is that the same mechanics that sold you a left handed screwdriver, a glass hammer and some tartan paint??

I jest - In answer to your original question, I doubt it! If that was the case race teams wouldn't bother building race engines as often as they do

Ironic thing is the diagnosis was 8 years ago, I've abused it since and run unmapped mods. Crikey I'm thinking 1200cc these days.

What a car

I remember similar comments when I suggested I could hit 12`s in my knacked WRX with budget tyres, that can manage 40mpg on a long run.

Even more impressive is that I did 12`s on a cold damp track with muddy tyres. Something a Spec C struggles to manage in the heat of Japan with a racing driver.

Give it up Matt. Christ!

I can do 12's in my WRX too, that's no big achievement. But hitting 11's in a car with only 300lb/ft in a standard weight WRX with a f****d engine is NEVER going to happen! You are very deluded or just plain thick. Can't decide which.

Were you on a cold damp track with muddy tyres? That's the first we have heard of this!!!

Probably the only reason your WRX gearbox isn't toast.

It's strange you've seen me harp on about the tyre predicament but not my weight saving escapades.

Your reaction will be interesting after I've run 11's. You'll go quiet like everyone did after I unbelievably ran 12's. Then we'll be onto the unthinkable, 10.9 with under 350lbft!!!!!!! and the WRX hating/denial cycle will continue.

There is something wrong with you. I've always given you the benefit of the doubt and even said positive things about you in the past, but quite honestly I give up. Same old broken record over and over again with nothing but your wild imagination to back up your ridiculous claims.

I tell you what Matt, If you actually achieve 11s with only 300lb/ft in your current car with it's broken engine then I will not only shut up, I will delete my account! Full stop.

BUT... until you do that I suggets you stop posting, because with every single post you make yourself look more of an idiot.
