Cheap assed pikey.

You gonna take Jamie up on his offer, then?

TBH I'm mainly motivated by getting 11.9 with less than 310lbft. It's not to prove the WRX is better than whatever but I think it'll just be some achievement for a 4x4 saloon. I'm 50-50 whether it can be done. :/

What do you think Mick? Can I shave half a second running on a dryer/hotter day, circa 15kg lighter, with lightweight crank pulley and thinner Millers low friction oils?

What I find amusing is that we are talking about 11 to 15 yr old cars, very few of which are standard anymore and then we start splitting hairs about which modified Impreza is better.

Let's face it guys, these cars are dinosaurs, the only reason they are still alive is a bunch of mugs keep giving tuners a shed load of their hard earned, fact is most of us would be better off financially getting a much newer car on tick than we are driving these tractors.

All we are doing is holding on to past glory, that ultimately wasn't that great at the time anyway, so which pile of crap has been is better is immaterial.

You forgotten about this one, Who would use their full name for a username...must be your twin with the same name ...and err location

Bob Dha ran 11.?s with around 340bhp IIRC, in a classic. Not sure if it was full weight.

When did you do a 12.4?

i can only imagine our wrx was in a1 condition as the sti was far faster.
i should have ran it on 3 cylinders to get the extra bhp.
