What's everyone bought there better halves this Christmas?
Bought mine a holiday - never buy 'stuff'. House is full of 'stuff'. . . . also, getting the AP 6 pots blasted, renewed and painted, with new bells, disks and pads - she'll love it. She didn't specifically ask for this, but I could tell that she's been thinking about this important piece of safety for a while now.
Oh no, she (Nat) "didn't love me anymore".
But soon moved into a rented house with her new boyfriend (3 weeks actually).
I've had offers and "fun" (the wonders of Tinder and POF
), but keeping my cards close to my chest as I have 4 year old son to put first.
So the positive is my dining room turned into the new, improved Rave Cave© which my chavvy neighbours on the left don't like

it's bee 14 years happily married now.You are right putting your son first get that right and the rest will follow ;-)
Not much this year. I've put a 50 quid limit on our presents.
2 years ago she had a pair of boots that cost £160. She didn't wear them as she didn't want to get them dirty.
Last year she had an expensive coat. That's never been worn outside either.

A big stupid buddha that she spotted in a antique shop so I went back and kept it at work for 5 months
Also cash as she has got everything so she can waste it in the sales on more clothes ,handbags and shoes for the west wing of her wardrobe
She hasn't even used the chainsaw I got for her birthday a few weeks ago
The logs are piling up in the shed so she needs to get her finger out otherwise we will run out of coal again

I was laughing when she said she wanted some perfume and wellie boots, thought it was going to be a cheap xmas for me (I am a right tight **** sometimes)
Over 100 quid for wellie boots now!? I wasn't laughing anymore when she showed me the ones she wanted. And the same for perfume, some black "Jo Malone" stuff, what a rip off.

This year I have been threatening to buy her a clowns outfit, as she has been a bit blonde lately. Yesterday she decided to put a plastic chopping board in the oven underneath the tray that she was cooking pork belly in. Today I am cleaning the oven! (Fooking expensive oven at that!)
I just get a list of things not to buy - "don't buy me perfume, or clothes, or sweets etc etc"
Annoys me in a way - as everyone else doesn't get this memo and buys all of the above - makes me look like a bit of a scrooge on Christmas Day with my feeble supply of offerings!!

Some 1200's and a set of Alesis M1Mk2's.
Joking aside, pretty much nothing as we've just purchased a house which needs a new bathroom, so saving pennies for that.
Never been one to fork out loads, 50 quid max, both happy with that rule over the years.
