Puncture unrepairable, so i also had to get a new tyre, but i got an exact replacement which the dealer had in stock from Japan, no issue with the AWD warning light coming on.

Great! Which dealer is it please? I am happy to pop there and get a tyre from them!

I still can't believe that the dealer who replaced my car's tyre put one with different tread pattern and said it's OK!!!

Simpsons, Highworth, Nr. Swindon Wiltshire.

However, it wasn't cheap! £220 for 1 tyre plus balance n fitting! extortionate. I was in 2 minds not to bother and get the tyre online from somewhere else, but in the end i couldn't be bothered Oh i couldn't find anywhere selling them anyway.

The correct tyre is a Dunlop Sportmaxx RT 245/40 R18 97W

So on my way from Herts to Manchester today I thought to pop in. I was there first thing in the morning and success Job done!
The offending tyre has been removed and replaced by the correct Dunlop Sport MAXX RT 245/40 R18 97W identical to the originals. I can not praise them enough! Very helpful! A BIG THANK YOU
No more amber AWD light flickering

Btw only 2 of those tyres left in the UK!

I am a very happy bunny! Off to my hairdresser's now

I was there outside their gate just before 8am and before anybody else arrived(!) waiting and fully wrapped up (as it was cold) and maybe looking in despair...
Anyway I was pleased to see they managed to do it there and then and David explained to me why this is happening and Justin (the technician who did the job) made sure that the car is OK before handing it back to me
They kept the offensive tyre, which should be OK when we order 3 similar to this in the (very near as it seems) future and get all 4 tyres replaced

Good stuff, yea that was good of them to keep the existing one for later, will save you a bit of money when you get another 3 (although you will be paying dealer prices). When i'm due a new set i'll be buying something else online its a lot cheaper. www.camskill.co.uk are one of the better places to get tyres.

Nice, yes they beat camskill on price by about £38 per tyre it seems and free delivery! Using the dunlop sportmaxx ones as an example.

Camskill do a price beater on all their new tyres, i might try that out the next time

Camskill do tend to be a bit expensive compared to others.. Have a look on tyreleader.com. Very quick delivery and good prices!

I run mine 34 front 32 rear.
Reset them to that and then press and hold the tpms button and set1 will appear on the dash, press and hold the tpms button and it will knock the lamp off.

30 is borderline for the light to come on especially when the temperature drops outside to below freezing,

My TPMS only went off when i had 20psi in the tyre with the slow puncture it shouldn't go off at 30psi i would have thought. I hadn't checked my other tyres for a while and they were all around the 27-28psi mark. It was warmer then though.

This has reassured me a bit, my sensors have been going loopy since the cold set in. I've been checking pressures every morning with no change. Sounds like it's the sensors!

Yup all fixed Another £180 as the bumper has to come off to install the lower grille. They found another plastic piece/cover that was bust, so replaced that as well.

Small update, had to replace the NS wing mirror after a stupid woman on her phone swiped it off. Some advice whatever you do do NOT damage your wing mirrors, they are erm pricey to replace

Currently though it's broken :/

Fuel cut a couple of times last week, now i get boost creep/overboost, its hitting 1.6bar consistently on 75% to WOT most of the time, goes well but i don't think it will do the internals much good Dealer having a look next week, hopefully it's just a vacuum line that's split or come loose, FML.
