if you fall for that complete load of bollocks then you need your head examining.

Bo11ox to that. Subaru are not renowned for their corporate consideration for their customers' needs.
That is the least relevant reason to hold back.

Edited to add: I'm making (perhaps incorrectly) an assumption that you own a hatch 2.5.
If that is indeed the case, how are you going to feel if your 2.5 goes pop next week and you haven't driven this complaint through to a proper conclusion. Best of luck with getting Subaru UK to rebuild your engine FoC.
As I say it is an assumption, but you get the point?

I'd be nailing the company's ***** to the fence just for having the audacity to expect you to belive such bollox! It would appear the owner is in this as much as anyone else...

Yes your right but the thing is with big places like that they don't know what the test driver is going to do so what you happen now their should be a thing in place to stop this from happening again.....

Fu5k me I must be growing up because I would have kicked seven bells out of him by now

People that own their own business must understand that they do not know what their staff do behind close door until it comes to light, I have spoken to Mr Shelley today a number of times and i believe he will sort this out and put things in place so this never happens again.....

Let be adults about this and stop any hate mail ok

Maybe so, but how do you know it wasn't the boss, and as I said before, if your engine expires as a result of this where will you stand then?
It sounds to me like you're a really decent bloke who doesn't want to cause trouble unnecessarily, fair play to you. But don't accept company promises to 'sort it out' when you could be the one ultimately footing the bill for anything that goes wrong subsequently.

And there's no need to shout

Well then that is the risk I will have to take. But the hate mail being sent to them is not going to help us it. That is something a kid would do.
That is all

I agree about the hate mail.
This is for you to sort out and not a gang of 'lynch-mob' bystanders.

It sounds very much to me like you're being 'managed' as a damage limitation exercise.

Default DAY FROM HELL THANKS TO SHELLY MOTORS

The problem is you start of annoyed but after a few weeks of getting no where you get worn down. Seen it happen loads of times. A few times I've given up other times I've fought till the end. On this matter I'd been very annoyed to find it had been driven anywhere with out good reason. Let alone being thrashed. Ps what in car can system you have? Can it be viewed by your phone?
