DAY FROM HELL THANKS TO SHELLY MOTORS

Took my car in for a service at SHELLY motors in Epsom to get alerts from the tracker company saying that my car was speeding around so then check the car cam to see my car being driven like it is being joy riding, doing 71mph in a 30mph.
So ring the dealer to speak to service manger for him to say what do you want me to do about it.

STAY WELL AWAY FROM SHELLY MOTORS EPSOM

STAY WELL AWAY FROM SHELLY MOTORS EPSOM

Tell the service manager you have evidence of them speeding in built up areas and you are going to contact the Police....See what he does then.

jameswrx 14 September 2015 08:17 PM

Got any footage? Be interested to see.

I'd be well pi55ed off to be honest.

smunns 14 September 2015 08:18 PM

Yes I have and think I might be taking it to the police to see what they think about it all.

the shreksta 14 September 2015 08:19 PM

Put the footage up on youtube

smunns 14 September 2015 08:22 PM

I wish I could but have not got a YouTube account, 71 in a 30 is taking the pi55 also it is in the wet.

silver-sub 14 September 2015 08:22 PM

Strange how someone would do that knowing there was a car cam in the vehicle.

the shreksta 14 September 2015 08:22 PM

It's not hard to set up an account........

the shreksta 14 September 2015 08:29 PM

They got the extraordinary service part correct lol

smunns 14 September 2015 08:30 PM

Well I might do that if I don't get any joy from Subaru tomorrow

smunns 14 September 2015 08:31 PM

Also can see how fast your car can go lol

smunns 14 September 2015 08:33 PM

The thing is they only had Kia there before and take it they was not fast so they signed up for Subaru......

In a 30mph <br/>

smunns 14 September 2015 08:37 PM

But SHELLY motors say that England has a 70mph speed limit but had to explain that was on the motorway not on a street, then then I said I did not like my car being ragged he said it is built to do it lol
So does that mean that is ok I think not

donny andi 14 September 2015 08:39 PM

Cheeky cnuts ...

Bet £10 he was still in 3rd gear aswell :norty:

smunns 14 September 2015 08:43 PM

I bet he is but still don't think it is right and not letting this go

the shreksta 14 September 2015 08:43 PM

If you take this lying down then you need your head looking at.

Trading standards/C.A.B/police would be my 1st visits made

jayallen 14 September 2015 08:45 PM

Email them that still shot and tell them you will be contacting the Police because you don't appreciate your car being driven at those speeds in built up area.....Just see what you can get out of them..

smunns 14 September 2015 08:47 PM

I am not taking this lying down

Mate I would do them straight, tell the police, trading standards etc. Whoever drove ur car, get their licence taken away or even points with the evidence you have.

Cleary they are taking you as a joke so give them something to fear.

alcazar 14 September 2015 08:54 PM

Hope you ain't paid for the service?

smunns 14 September 2015 09:01 PM

Yes have paid for it now I should send them a bill lol

jameswrx 14 September 2015 09:02 PM

Another reason not to use main dealers where the immature twats see the odd fast car and can't help themselves!

The beauty of a specialist is they see these cars all day every day and they don't feel the need to "see what it goes like"

smunns 14 September 2015 09:03 PM

All you pay for is a stamp when you go to main dealers

smunns 14 September 2015 09:09 PM

May the stig is working at SHELLY motors now and is road testing cars lol

lcs_turbo 14 September 2015 09:23 PM

You've got to go to the police. With the evidence you have, they'll have to follow it up some way.

In the meantime, get it on YouTube, share it on ALL the local forums and report it to Kia and Subaru UK and the local newspaper (they might love covering a "franchised dealer speeding horror show" story) - they probably won't do anything but you can at least take some comfort that the smart arse manager might get a bollocking for it.

smunns 14 September 2015 09:26 PM

You are so right and I hope Chris from SHELLY motors are reading this because it might make him think

Tidgy 14 September 2015 09:32 PM

It's hit facebook i see, pretty piss poor show, i'd be amazed if the service manager keeps his job if the dealer prinicple is doing his job properly

smunns 14 September 2015 09:55 PM

has hit Facebook has it well that is good shame not on it as i would love to see what is said
