Having previously owned a Blobeye STI Type UK and now owning a JDM Widetrack STI, I can vouch that there is a marked difference in how they behave performance wise!
If you have the money, get a JDM, or if you want to get a UK spec and spend some pennies then go for it

Im exactly the same .. had a uk blob running 350 and now have a jdm blob running 450 .. my JDM feels like a different car altogether .. power is just there all the time
Owned 2 type R's over an 8 year period, so no JDM envey here, would have considered one if they had ISO fix for my daughters baby seat, sadly the JDMs have folding mirrors over child safety

Not sure if you missed the multiple times its been pointed out, but this is a JDM Newage discussion, not a Classic one. Love the Type R, but its not a twinscroll STI. We are tallking twinscroll newage STI's. Cheers.
