May not have a warranty, but as pointed out, this would fall under the "sales of goods act". Not in satisfactory condition or fit for purpose

That's correct, the customer does not get a 6 month warranty by law

Yeh I have just joined scoobynet , I was advised that this is the forum to go on for advise, had my subaru for about 8 days now, I just thought I would check the warranty thing as I didn't think you had a 6 month warranty from a garage, but yeh you do have 6 months to raise a complaint about the car if bought from a garage

Which is effectively the same thing as a warranty, just a warranty is an all inclusive word. Please make your apology public

So, are you actually 'quoting' yourself?

You made yourself look like a right plum by arguing the toss with someone who knew, and now you wont apologise for doing that, trying to belittle someone with wrong information?

Lovely chap, you wont fit in too well round here with that attitude.
