Well as someone who used to live in a particularly run down area and got out I can tell you now that 9yrs after selling, the place is choc a block wall to wall asylum seekers/ foreign insurgents, full to over flowing, as the son of an immigrant I can say with a clear conscience that the place is full and there is a point at which enough is enough.

May well be ok for those that don't live in such places, but for those that do it's a living nightmare, they're everywhere and up to no good.

Call me racist if you like but when you see the colour of my skin you'll know that's not possible, but I am a realist.

Lock down and stop more coming in now so that we can sort through the ones we already have and determine which are genuine asylum seekers and who the economic migrants are, until that is determined it's impossible to move forward and accept more.

It's not our fault that other countries are so blatantly corrupt, well that's not strictly true because it is ultimately our fault as our system, politicians and demigods made it so, as is usual the common man pays the price, while those in positions of power and wealth continue to live the life of Riley and the rest of us suffer the consequences of their thirst for money and power, regardless of how much they already have.

Well as someone that voted with his feet 9yrs ago and left the UK I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt my personal experience from what I personally have seen the number of foreigners has increased more than 10 fold.

I don't trust official figures and statistics because I know for a fact that they are manipulated to suit the agenda of those providing them and anyone that thinks otherwise is living in cloud cuckoo land.

I don't see how it matters which countries take the asylum seekers in. Once they are granted citizenship in any European country, they will be free to travel throughout the whole EU just as other EU citizens can. It's not going to be about where they are granted asylum, it's about where they go after.

As for Libya Cameron did go in on the back of protecting civilians when in fact it was a mission to get rid of Gaddafi and the country is worse off for it. Whether I dislike Cameron or not does not change the facts! You think he is some sort of decent bloke which tells me a lot about you!

I think some people are just a tad bitter that David Cameron won the general election by a clear majority.

As for any more asylum seekers my response would be a clear no. Martin, I don't think its as easy as linking the numbers to gdp. There are other considerations ie our housing shortage, tge size of our Island, how many immigrants we have already, both legal and illegal.

Now that we are rid of those bleeding heart Lib Dems I'm hoping we get a firmer response from this Tory majority govt.

Actually, if THEY stuck to the rules and the UK ENFORCED the rules, we'd end up with an extremely small number.

It's not asylum seekers that get me, the genuine ones anyway, NOT the ones that have crossed 13 countries to get to the UK, it's the illegals, the economic migrants and those who come here for benefits and to beg...and yes they DO exist, in large numbers.

We CANNOT afford them, sorry.
