Hi guys
just joined up 5 mins ago new to this type of thing,, I've been following this thread. Just like everyone to know I'm now the new owner of the 2006 JDM Sti which I'm well pleased with (fingers crossed). Viewed it this morning and really had no hesitations the car is mint, if anything previous owner under sold it, seems a really honest helpful guy. I've owned a hatchback STI before but thought I'd go back to old school, no doubt I will start mithering for advise in the future. Just introducing myself really

with new alcons rs29 pads, new rotas and new ad08r and maister r coilovers, new parts under a bonnet to.
Yes ohlins will be better but not over 10y old ones.
11.8k was a good deal
one thing annoy me cobra fob do not lock a car, tried to fix it but failed

Op sold it than next owner had it 2 years and next who spent 4k or more had it 10months
i can buy cars with 4k parts just fitted for good price every month
i even did not know it has a roof scoop, did not see it on advert

Like above it's mine from March 2018,i spoke with an OP 6y ago he has no issues to update this tread by me with what has been done to a car. Yes could start new one but it will lack it's previous owners history etc. And Yes i do not need idiots jumping on my fresh tread.

Sony radio out ,Pioneer PRS 80 in with some usb mod for phone charger,rewired deffis to stop a buzzer when listening radio with engine off

Dust from Ebc Rpx front pads drives me mad, bond used in those pads is so sticky
Took me 4h to clean one alloy,clay bar and credit card
Changed them for pagid rs14
dust on a car
bought little polishing tool to help me keep car panels shine
one wheel half cleaned
new Apracing discs with new bells,will refurb-anodise old bells in gold
hel brided brake lines ,pads and ... always something, could not remove bolt from alloy bracket, finally broke a bolt,new bracket ordered and fitted,this time copper grease used on bolts tread,
calipers refresh ,fitted meister gt1's coilovers
