Sounds good , not quite sure you'd get it under the hood or what it would do for the understeer.

Slightly more modest but the outlaws Botnia Targa 35 had a pair of Volvo diesels rated at about 350bhp each; a thing resembling a fishing boat used to fly past people at over 40 knots. Thames River Police use them.
