Yes but question I'm stuck with is would it be worth upgrading to the td05 for a extra 20-30 bhp and later spool hmmm

20g will be pretty laggy, sc36 will make it look like a lag monster. or if you want the 400 then sc42.

I suspect other parts will fail at that power though

Had a 20g on my standard gc8 turbo 2000 and it was a lagbeast, for driving around it is not much fun, it is on the track though.

i had the following mods: 550cc injectors, fmic, fuel pump, air intake, ecutek tune.

running on the standard gearbox and it was tuned not to kill it (still lots of power left in turbo), but every time i shifted on track it sounded like it could break.

i wouldn't do it again, with a 2l i would take the 18g max instead, would be more fun when off-track.

in the meantime i have upgraded to a 6 speed gearbox and a forged 2.5, with the same turbo and that is one sweet setup.

It's not laggy on a 2.5, mine runs 740's and a Harvey up-pipe, spools to 1bar at 2800rpm.

It wasn't laggy on my 2lt. Be in the right gear before planting your foot and you're golden.

I did add a bit of meth later on though and that helped things along
