anyone meeting at a place so we all go in together and do we need tickets to prove we paid for the stand/show our cars?

Always good to see our sister site at this show with some great cars

 

Budgie willl let you know meet up point and time this week. Usually in Uxbridge town centre early morning.


Some tips for newcomers:

-Bring lots of water, drinks & snacks as it can be a long day, especially if hot.
-Bring rainproof jacket too cos its Britain!! lol
-Bring a folding chair and a hat or baseball cap, though we normally do have a large gazebo.
-Anyone fancy bringing a bar-b-q your more than welcome...just as long as we can cook on it too!
-If you've done lots of mods or have some interesting facts or pics of the car, I have been known to print them out on a couple of A4 pages and stick them in the windscreen for people to read about as the peruse through our stand
-When we drive into the show ground in convoy you must display your stand pass on dashboard for organisers to see. This will be given to you in the morning when we meet before the show. Follow the rest of our cars to our designated area.
-When we get to our area there may be some re-organising of the cars, in fact there might be quite a bit of faffing around as I try and think of interesting ways to organise cars in groups etc.

This is the same place as last year for those who went
Please be there for 8:30 to collect your stand pass and we will convoy to the show at 8:45am to set up.
If you have any problems with this let me know and you can collect your pass from me this week

Is there anymore room on the stand?

I might be coming down later in the day if there's a spare stand pass and I can buy a ticket on the gate?

 

As far as Im aware the Rotary Club who organise the show want all cars positioned on the stands before they open the gates to members of the public. Once the show opens they dont want cars driving around in between the throngs of public etc.

I would still come down and enjoy the show! Just park the car in the massive car parking areas on the grounds, buy a ticket at the entrance & walk in
