As already said in this thread - AN MY15 (stock) with its 3 cats on & just a ECUTEK remap makes around 330BHP and similar torque....

to get to 370 - it would need a full 3" exhaust, filter downpipe fuel pump etc..etc...then remap....to make approx 360-370 ish

This lot is as clear as mud guys. someone please tell me this is a wind up as I cannot believe anyone would go the route of this op from start to finish......surely not !!.

If I were Mangoletsi I think I would also be popping in to clear a few points up.

eh? yes really, easily achievable. Mine made 330 and 345lbft just from a standard remap. Stock it was 288/290.

could well be at work lol There a sound bunch so if something had happened they would put it right, no questions asked.

Not sure why people are so surprised about the price tbh, without know spec or what work is being done. Given how many engines clinic built and how much testing they do there in alot better position to know what is and what isn't needed and achievable to a safe working limit.

Sure if needs be Pat can come along and blow all your minds with the technical side of things lol

Except in another thread he said it was a piston ring or rings. Anyway i think its pretty evident the car was messed about with extensively before the clinic got hold of it or maybe there's more to it than that (which i suspect ). Whether it was done properly or not is the question, but really i'm not surprised it popped, whatever the issue was.

So Wigan WRX STI sends his car to Scoobyclinic because it wasn't fast enough for him so they bolt on a turbo and map the car to suit. Not long after the engine goes pop so Wigan WRX STI goes back to Scoobyclinic and gets told the pistons in the new cars are not as good as the old cars, unlucky!

A discussion is held to the tune of, give us 13 grand and we'll give you the first 2015 Impreza to be at 450bhp. Wigan WRX STI then comes on to Scoobynet to tell everyone his news.

Mr Wigan WRX STI, were you aware that the initial work, turbo and remap, would void your warranty on what is a brandnew car?
