Haven't been on here since I sold that car to Matt , it was mine , and my brothers before me but we both never drove it like it needed to be. It's had such an easy life and Matt changed a few of the important bits to make it even better. I'm almost glad it went out of the country as it was torture seeing it driving past now and again. Good luck with it and health to drive mate.

Charly, Thanks for the prior history/info it all helps and gives me a happy feeling! it is going in to be compression checked and given a full once over so I know what I've got to work with. It is circa 90K now so I am not expecting perfection but a rebuild is on the list anyway, but 6 months from now or longer would be a nice result, who knows it could be as strong as a Ox!

Thanks to Matt for his hospitality and doing such a grand job of the Car, It is a credit to it's former keeper/keepers. Actually felt a bit for Matt as I drove away in what was clearly his pride and joy! Wont hijack the thread but if anyone comes across him and he is either selling or buying I would say its coming/going to a good home. Regards to all and hello again after many years away!
Look forward to your updates!

Great purchase...There's little over 300 of the Prodrives left on the road from the original 747 registered in UK so that is a great car at a fantastic price. I've got a bit to do before mine is finished but I won't be selling. MY heart goes out to OP...I've said bye bye to many cars I shouldn't have so I am keeping my one :-)

This is a keeper and will be getting some much loved attention, that said it has clearly had plenty. Nothing to OTT as been there done that. I reckon this deserves to proud of itself for many years to come. Been in a scoob before but it was around 9 years ago now, I was initially reserved but this deserves far better. It will no doubt appear in the "Projects" section at some point but I have a few things on the go right now. As said I genuinely feel for Matt, again been there done that and miss a few cars I've sold on over the years. (ready for pointless comment) if I should ever win the lottery I will spend a fortune on it (although that will probably happen without wining the lottery) and track Matt down and give it him back. I will of course then start all over again in another scoob!
