You could just as easy have said that 4 years ago. He's still there though. He'll go when Repsol say so, not when Honda do.

It's interesting to see how mark is reacting with the Yamaha being sorted and the Ducati taking a giant leap forward.

Looking forward to today. Seeing Rossi at goodwood after his win at Assen was great. Marquez is back looking strong if he can stay on it until the end.

Marquez is back using the '14 chassis, so normal service resumed At least the yams have caught up a bit now though.

More importantly Rossi beat Lorenzo. As long as he keeps doing that, he has a great chance

at indy same asymmetric tyres which Lorenzo doesn't like so hopefully rossi can get a couple more points over him
but as history dictates every year the leader at saxonring wins the championship

It was a fairly boring race, even crutchlow finished.

Shame that happened, can't see Rossi getting anywhere near the front from the back of the grid.

I just hope Danny Kent gets those 2 points in Valencia as well!

It does look like Rossi is up against it, but he has pulled off some spectacular comebacks

How many riders go to The Ranch, any of those Buddies could really help Vale.

On my calculations, might be wrong.

If JL99 wins, VR46 needs to come 2nd

If JL99 finished 2nd, VR46 needs to come 3rd

If JL99 finished 3rd, VR46 needs to come 6th

I can see him coming from the back to 6th...but not 3rd.

I can see him getting up to 4th. I am certain JL or DP will win.

But it's not over. It seemed pretty unlikely Hayden would be world champ after Pedrosa took him out in 2006.

Rossi really shot himself in the foot. Firstly accusing Marc in the press conference and then wondering why he then gets a hard time in the race.

Its unclear to me whether Marc leaned in to scare Rossi or because he had to in order to stay on the track. Also unclear whether that impact knocked Rossi's leg off the peg or he deliberately pushed out. Only the two of them know their real intentions. What is clear is that Rossi instigated the incident because what - he was annoyed Marc was racing him? Thats as bad as when Rosberg complained that Lewis was going to slow. I for one lost a lot of respect for Rossi after watching that.

I didnt want Jorge to take the title but at least he has gone for wins rather than playing it safe. Last race will be interesting. Rossi has to hope DaniPed has another blinder and keeos Jorge from taking full points.

He's annoyed because Marquez was deliberately spoiling his race.
Look how aggressive MM's move were - trying to cut him up all the time and therefore deliberately slowing the pace.

Rossi is not without guilt here, but this aggravation has been on going with them for sometime, and MM knew exactly what he was doing.
I know technically he didn't break any rules, but.........

There are a couple of time MM got 'very' close. You'd not expect that type of overtake as early in a race.

For all VR happy go lucky attitude, underneath that you have a focused and committed races. MM still has the hump from Assen. He feels VR cheated then!

Rossi deliberately runs marc very wide, he's fully entitled to do that, he looks at him whilst doing it, he's entitled to do that too. There's 1 - 2 meters of track at the side of marc, he's in no danger. Marc sits up, usually at that point you'd slot in behind. But marc accelerates and turns into Rossi, rossi's speed and line where constant. Marc's helmet makes contact with Rossi's knee, it was only after that contract that Rossi's knee comes out, his leg comes out after marc has started to crash and doesn't make contact. Whose are the facts. Marc at fault, not Rossi, very poor decision by race control. And poor commentary, by a normally spot on group. Particularly toseland who kept going on about Rossi's knee coming off whilst watching from the angle that clearly shows marc butting his knee 1st

Having watched the slow motion video many times, Rossi knee moves after Marquez has leaned with his head on Rossi. I can see, hopefully, an overturn or suspension of sanction allowing the final race to be finished fair and square

I totally agree, Rossi reacts to something touching him, he doesnt instigate the movement towards MM for no reason, as many seem to think,

Id love Rossi to win his appeal, just to watch Lorenzo`s face hahaha.

considering he get the punishment for forcing another rider wide not for kicking him off does seem very harsh he got one.

Considering mm has admited he was deliberately slowing rossi down does seem very harsh

I'l be gutted if Rossi doesn't win the title, the appeal is a clever move. He's realistically lost the title with the penalty, if they cant conclusively determine he's guilty at the hearing on friday, the penalty has to be suspended. If they up the penalty of keep the one he's got he's realistically no worse off.
Lorenzo is as bigger dick as anyone for getting involved the way he has.

+1 for Rossi MM was being his usual arrogant self but he has upped the game by now also being dangerous.

By now also being dangerous . . . . I'd suggest some of his moves have been a little dangerous before now. Take silverstone a couple of years back, crutchlow laying in the gravel and marshals gathering his bike with waved yellows and Marquez comes in way too hot and comes off nearly taking crutchlow and the marshals out for one example!

I thought Rossi was mad for the things he said in the press conference. Then I saw a clip of Rossi during practice and Marquez deliberately slowing and sitting behind him. It was quite comical, Rossi looking back over his shoulder, Marquez stalking him. Then Rossi booted it and Marquez sped off trying to stay close.
Rossi was stupid for getting involved but it was blatantly obvious Marquez was on the wind up.
You can clearly see he doesn't attempt to catch JL99 when he runs wide, then kills himself trying to get back at Rossi. You can clearly hear Marquez roll off the throttle after he's overtaken Rossi, IMO he could have got away from Rossi but deliberately slowed to play games.

I'm also disgusted at the attempt by JL99 to put a stop to Rossi's appeal, and glad he was told to do one. If he wins the championship everyone will think he doesn't deserve it and only won because the leader was penalised. I can't imagine Yamaha are happy with JL99.

It would make a better event of Rossi was able to qualify as per normal. Honestly I don't think he'd win the race, but it would be better for everyone involved if he was allowed to race under normal conditions and the penalty served at the first race next season.

I fully agree with you but i did word it wrongly by saying now MM is dangerous as of course he has been in the past but i was making my point about this last race controversy.
