Well where has that Lorenzo been for the past couple of seasons? I thought we'd see VR46 catch Marquez but MM just turned the screw a little. Another good finish from Cal though, surely worthy of a HRC ride next season?.

Rumour has it Marquez is on engine number 3 of only 5 sealed units already. If he goes beyond those 5 he'd have to start each race from the pit lane.

Can still use those three engines, I don't think any of them are toast yet.

The engine used when the red light was thrown up in qualifying obviously has a problem. And as the link above explains it would be like surgery to work on a sealed engine.
Although the other is likely to still be useable why has it been set aside?

Yep, Austin that was it, I couldn't remember where. That link above is quite interesting, apparently the Ducati will shut down completely if it detects a fault with the engine.

There was an article on motomatters about it, one of the engines used apparently because it was quicker to open up a crate with a new engine than it was to swap over one of the used engines into the second bike. I don't think Marquez has any more engine worries compared to any of the other riders.

Another good win for Jorge. Great little race between Marquez and Ianonne for 4th as well, they must have traded places 10 times in a lap at one point. One things for sure though, Pedrosa won't be on a Honda next year.

Front end issues (tyre and brake) due to the heat. Track temp was 32C which they hadn't experienced in the morning. Sounds like an excuse to me though, as it was the same for the others, they did all suffer though. Noticed all the other hondas dropped out apart from Marquez

nah, they just weren't prepared for the serious heat. The temps were the same/similar in Spain last week and they didn't suffer as badly there.

Is Marquez panicking? He way overshot the corner at the start and only looked bothered when Ianonne was troubling him.

He doesn't pick the best lines , relying on that tiny body to throw the bike around

Probably just exhausted after watching Lorenzo and the old man stretch out the lead

Yeah was a great save. Amazing moment for me was Lorenzo, knee and almost elbow down waving to the crowd.
The last 3 races are showing what a talent he is, and which goes ignored due to his past with Rossi.
It's also showing Marquez isn't great under pressure.

More Honda front end issues, hot track, front tyre gives in, they have not sorted it out yet. Cal had the same issues so crashed as well. Pedrosa didn't crash probably because he is carrying a lot less weight.

I thought Honda were saying they were running 'too much power'.

Wasn't mark the only one in the field on the hard front?.

Calm down love. It was a question. Fairly sure I heard the commentator saying mark was the only person on the hard front, so not really the same as for Cal.
Pedrosa i'd imagine just took it easy considering his injury and crash in the last race.
Don't start with the tantrums 😀 they'll be asking you to become a mod if you carry on lol.

There's no doubt Marquez is a class act, however I never bought into all the hype last year. My feeling was the class of the Honda was such that it made his job a lot easier, allowing him to show his talent.
Having seen how this season has gone so far, my feeling is that the big leveller has been the seamless box on the Yamaha. Marquez now has to push harder to achieve the same results, so he's running wide into corners and sometimes falling off. The way he won last year is exactly why he won't win this year, because the mentality is wrong. Last year winning was easy for him. This year he needs to take a step back and accept that good points are better than no points.
Back in the early Nineties (I think) Tetsuya Harada was 250cc champion without ever winning a race. He came second a lot though.
