There's hope for those affected by the issue you trolled out, but most reports do mention the same damage from using cleaning products on the screen or keyboard, that's not going to wash - pun intended.

It would be easier to tell the difference between dumb and funny if you didn't post so many dumb comments.

Just made my first payment with Apple Pay in Costa. It saved me the time of inserting my card and typing my tediously long four digit PIN by allowing me to open my phone case, press my phone against the card reader, open the case again as it flipped shut, take my phone away, realise I shouldn't have taken my phone away, put my phone back on, open the phone case again, wait for the phone to register, press my finger on the reader, wait until it couldn't read my fingerprint, use another finger, wait until it read that fingerprint and voila...instant payment!

Then my mate who was stood behind me said I should get an Apple watch, I retorted with "**** off"

Or use your contactless debit card so don't even have to bother with a pin. How swiping a phone is supposed to be more convenient than that I will never know.

Except doing that opens you up to being scanned and hacked.

Well not an issue for me as I always forget to swipe it and end up using the pin anyway.

It was free when I turned on my Watch this morning. The limit is going up all the time, hopefully banks will set a higher limit for Watch users, safer bet.

Having the ability to not use my card doesn't mean I can't use my card, it's not often far away just not on my wrist.

Be happy with what you have.
