That took you a while! Do you realise how much revenue people like you make for these sites? Such a victim of marketing.
But on to the heart rate monitor, good for Apple for being prepared to take flack to ensure a more accurate reading, accuracy always wins over frequency in medical devices. Oh and if you want constant monitoring, you turn it on.
What was this marketing drive called "Beatgate"?? It doesn't take much click bait to get a moron on the line.
Have they sorted Apple maps yet? I still use google maps on my iPhone.
I only use Apple Maps, travel extensively and to date have made it there and back. Tried Google Maps after someone sent me a link that opened in the app, not bad but not as well integrated.
I'll give it another go then.
Both cars have good Satnav but I still use it for working out routes.
Definitely give it another go, there are areas where Google will be better and areas where Apple will be better that's just going to happen, see what works for you. I also carry an old TomTom on big trips just in case I can't get data.

Interestingly (ish) Suunto have just released a major update for the Ambit 2 - pretty good for an "old" model. It has all sorts of new stuff like a storm warning.
I've been surfing loads and not running, cycling or swimming all that much so haven't actually used mine a lot in the last month. Surfing every day isn't bad exercise though; you can get a surfing app - measures the length of your waves but I can't really be bothered with it.
but of course its all lies and apple stuff never goes wrong,,,,,,,,, lol
All hail apple, all hail apple,,,,,,
No no Tidgy, you may recall my Macbook had a catastrophic failure, it was a £2500 machine so I was very unhappy. Even at four years old it was still a fantastic machine so I didn't want to lose it. I popped into the Apple store and they fixed it for free, major component replacement. My Macbook is still a fantastic machine.
