From: Slowly rebuilding the kit of bits into a car...
There are a few people turn up at Squires on the first Tuesday of each month....
The unofficial Jap Car Club used to be as popular for all Jap cars as the WYIOC was for Scoobys.
dunx
P.S. Still sorting out bits for my restoration project.... for it's 15th birthday !

Im a relatively new Hawkeye owner in Shelf area of Halifax and get the odd wave from time to time.
When I had my classic a few years back now I attended a few of the WYIOC meets they were good fun.
I was surprised to see WYIOCS demise when I came back to the forum though.

I'm also from west Yorkshire and also recently got mine.
Its frustrating there's nothing going on around local to us so why don't we just setup our own personal meets? Surely can't be that hard!

Not really rocket science to organise it.
If anyone is serious, I'll sort it
Yeah. Wasn't sure how to go about it so thought I'd open a Whatsapp group but so far only 3 or 4 members replied to my PM's.
If anyone is serious about a meet feel free to comment on this thread or send me a PM as I'm trying to organise a WhatsApp group but was just waiting to add more members before I started it.
Cheers

So the politics and bollocks in LSOC got too much for a few of us and we've left and formed West Yorkshire Subaru Owners Club. Have a look on FB for us. It's a much more laid back atmosphere.
PM me your name and I'll make sure you get added. Just being a bit cautious at the moment and not letting LSOC members in in general due to their admin booting them if they join us. We'd rather tell people and let them choose.
