What a load of b0llocks. Go back 10-12 years and then you will find some of the best posters on SN. Anyone remember Nacro? And the CWE forum was the busiest time in SN's history with some great banter

 

Erm no it wasn't, few months back I noticed a day when it said most users ever online, well since the "crash / re-start" anyway.

Where did I mention number of people online? That doesn't equate to number of posts per hour. The CWE forum the mods couldn't even keep up it was a full time job

+2 This place was at its best 1999 - 2004 IMO. Makes me laugh the way some of the current mob seem to think they're all that about Imprezas. There's posters from back then who have forgotten more than the current lot will ever know.

 

I joined in 2001 or 2002 can't remember now and can't believe it's 13/14 years ago. This place is unrecognisable compared to what it was back then.

 

Yeah I caught the backend, first joined in November 03 and have to say there was a lot more witty repartee back then and some cracking threads too.

 

We did have some awesome posters back then. Many a time I'd be howling with laughter at DCI Gene Hunt's posts. Some of the banter in muppets was surreal. The likes of Lightning, Karl, Bubba et al provided laughs on another level.
Even the trolls of that era had something about them. Sociopath, Nacro and Lord Shrek to name three.
Plus those no longer with us Andy the jock, Tam the Bam and others, all bona fide legends.
