The offices of a newspaper that reprinted the Carlie Habdo cartoons has been firebombed now. Fortunately nobody killed or injured.
It's just going to go on and on.

Here, if this were a Hollywood movie, that would probably have started by dropping a bomb on Finsbury Park mosque in 1996.

One of them attended Jihadist training camp. That'll do.
I'm somewhat of a 'the end justifies the means' type. So on a personal level I wouldn't question the government's methods too much (or at all) if I felt the result was good. Then again, if I were in control of Government I would look into state-sponsored hit squads provided plausible deniability existed.

Sigh! We've been here before and it does. Leaving the ECHR would undoubtedly mean being removed from the Council of Europe and to be a member of the EU you have to be a member of he Council of Europe. Ergo to leave the ECHR we must leave the EU despite what your beloved Tories tell you!

A country that is a member of the Council of Europe is signed up to the ECHR, whether they are in the EU or not.
The UK can leave the EU and would still remain in the Council of Europe and therefore the ECHR.
They are linked, but not in the convenient way you'd like to suggest.
But you were implying that leaving the EU is the solution. It is not.

As it currently stands we do not need to follow the ECHR, just merely "take into account any....judgement...".
YOU said that leaving the EU is the solution.
I have stated that membership of the EU has no bearing on our observation of the ECHR. We can leave the EU and will still be a member of the Council of Europe and therefore accepting of the ECHR.
At no point did I say the UK could opt out of the ECHR and remain in the EU.
Is this too difficult for you?
If you wish to score points then don't do it by putting words in my mouth.

If the UK wants to leave the ECHR it will end up having to leave the EU. Fact!
Your favourite party do not want to leave the EU hence they can't leave the ECHR.
Nor can any other party that gets to power in the UK!
Which is why I said that leaving the EU is the answer.
You said at no point did you say the UK could opt out of the ECHR and remain in the EU. I agree and that is not what I was talking about so why the hell you mention it I have no idea.
Anyway it's really that simple. I am at a loss (genuinely) as to why even you cannot get this. It's nothing to do with scoring points. My personal opinion of you is so low I can't even be bothered to do that, but when you write erroneous nonsense in an attempt to appear clever at my expense I will pull you up on it.
Now go away and annoy someone else!
