I've been looking at local accommodation and at the moment you can book the 17th & 18th of July with Travelodge for around £93 for both days.
What is the consensus on what to do? I'm fairly easy going but I would like to get some decent food on both nights.

Ty, if Alisa's fit which I think she should be we'll need a stay at the hotel as she's unable to camp due to her knee. Are you looking to book soon??

I think to take advantage of the early booking deals plus to ensure availability we should look to book in the next 4 weeks or so, plus of course being a weekend there will be more demand.

Sounds good, let me know when you ready to book and pm me the hotel details if there's not a link already and myself or Alisa will get our room sorted our end.

We are now officially on the list of attending clubs, I have booked a space for 10 cars and just remember that this will be a great event and well worth the travelling involved.

Hi all,
Good to see that you guys are coming up to the event again and what I could do is get a list together of local places to eat and place it on the main website for people to download if they require.
I will start getting a list together and put a post up as soon as I can.
Thanks once again for supporting the McRae Weekender
Kind regards
Justin

When is everyone thinking of travelling...convoy etc
Cheers

I'm in for tenting as well. It should be a good laugh with many other enthusiasts

I have spoken to Barlows Caravan Park, where the event is being held, about tent pitches.
They are advising we book through Justin of The McRae Website. They are reserving the whole field but the amenities block in the field only has two male and two females showers/toilets.
I am having a look at alternatives to get a better idea of what else is about and perhaps a little more luxury.

Looking at the McRae Weekender site, the links for the other caravan/tent parks all have toilet & shower blocks
Have you had a look round yet Captain?
