Recommend me some films
I liked No Country for Old Men for a thriller / crime / suspense sort of film. The film causes you some disturbance whilst watching it. Some people I know reported broken sleep, insecure nightmares etc. after watching this film. I myself slept sound through the night after watching it, though.
I've watched The Theory of Everything on big screen today. Excellent film! Well directed and well acted. The day I saw Eddie Redmayne in a TV drama called Birdsong, the day I knew he'd make his mark one day. He has done it mega style in this film.
I recommend this film to anyone who likes good cinema, not the trash one.

Wayhay! Eddie Redmayne is the best actor Golden Globe 2015 award winner for his amazing work in The Theory of Everything! So well deserved.
The synopsis looked interesting and I speed watched it the other night (Netflix)
Seemed better than most schlock horror movies
LUCY. Ive just watch said film and it was one of those little surprises that I didn't see coming.
Its not going to blow your socks off and its only a short film (1hr 25ish) but if you're the type of person who liked the Matrix then you may like this. (not Matrix standard but if your brain likes that stuff then this should be good)
I'm not sure if it's out yet so if you go to "putlocker" you can see it there for free.(it should just be on the first page so scroll down the page and press "search"). You do get lots of pop-ups but just delete them as you go and you'll be fine. (the pop-ups don't continue once it starts) You may also want to press pause for 15-20min and let it buffer so you don't get interrupted but other than that, enjoy.
Scarlett Johansson is also the main one and shes not exactly bad on the eyes.

It certainly played hell with my emotions.
The little 6yo lad loved his mum to bits but she was telling him to eat shìt when the fridge was empty and being generally apathetic to him, at the end when she was strangling him and he was affectionately stroking her cheek just got me.
I then felt a great sense of euphoria when she finally confronted (her demons/grief?) the stories antagonist after suddenly finding a compelling love for her son then passionately telling the Babadook she was going to fuċking kill him if he hurt her son again.

I watched it last night, not really my normal kind of film but heard good things about Lucy.
Lucy is the matrix's little sister, not quite as good though.
Johansson was as wooden as a railway sleeper throughout although she can be forgiven as that's what the role entailed her to be, and well.......she's fit

Freeman was his usual deep well spoken upper class self.
The effects were very good, a must watch on bluray.
The first half of the film was very good, the second half not so, went a bit far fetched and odd, especially the finale.
Lucy could of and probrarly should of been amazing, Besson could of taken it so much further in regards to the build up of the extra brain oomph and what she could do with it, instead we only get 1 or 2 stand out scenes in the entire film.
Would of been great as a half hour short.
Saying that if you switch your brain off for an hour and a half then you will probrarly enjoy Lucy for what it is.
6/10.
Dead snow 2 for me tonight.

Seriously, they thought it wasn't anything that makes one cry for their mommy.
Me and the other half watched. Didn't expect much but ended up liking it. One of the Baddies was in Prometheus.
I told my kid and her bf to watch this ^ film upon your bragging of it as so very scary, so they watched it today. They thought it was hardly anything to send even a single shiver through their stick insect spines. Pillow was not even a hypothetical need. They said that anyone needing to hug their pillow since 1992 (that's the year my kid was born, but that's irrelevant, although I did tell them about your 'pillow' experience in order to pre-build the tension) at watching it need to sort it out.

Like anything, it's what people find scary, my wife thought Babadook was scarier than Willow Creek. She's more visual than I. My imagination went into overdrive when the "whoop, whoop" noises were outside the tent and closing.
